I don't think anyone is arguing that we're good right now. I would imagine that most (at least me) don't really follow your opinion that we were bad before the injuries. "Reality" is a relative term based on whatever expectations each person had for this team.

I don't think anyone thinks we are good. But I think most understand that we were already behind the eight ball with our lack of depth and all the new players, and now with the injuries we just aren't very good. Before we were a solid team, now.... not so much. We as fans are just going to have to be patient and accept things for as they are.

I just expect it to not look like a pickup game of 5 random strangers who are a little rusty at basketball

I agree Bowers should be sat but he's already been demoted from starting. The only person to take those minutes is Waddell who takes the occasional charge but that's it. He's the opposite of Bowers in that he's not really going to do anything dumb but he's not going to really do anything to help.

Which speaking of that, Spencer is going to need a really good off season in the weight room and working on some post moves because we will have no one else next year.

It frustrates me when we start a game with our offense clicking the first few possessions and it looks like Bruce's offense is supposed to, then we go back to passing along the perimeter until the shot clock gets low and Brown or Canty putting up a three.

We just have no half court offense without Dunans. They key on Canty and we don't have any other creators. Bowers actually can take his guy one on one, but he's so terrible passing and finishing that it's worthless to let him do that. We can't lose Dunans, Canty, or Harris. Those three are our most important guys. Lose one of them and we fall apart.

That's perfectly fine IMO. At least Waddell wouldn't lose AU 10+ possessions a game from playing dumb basketball. Bowers is nothing but a liability, he's a net loss when he's on the court.

And I agree with Spencer. I think he should easily be able to add 10-15 pounds before next season. He's got a pretty big frame.

Agree, I think losing Dunans was a bigger blow than we realised. Even when he wasn't showing up on the scoreboard he was driving and dishing.

Dunans was extremely good at finding open players whether inside or 3pt. All the other guys seem to drive and dish inside.

Canty looks solid when he drives. He makes some nice buckets and dishes well to Harris etc. For some reason, he only drives when we are down by 10+ with 3 minutes left

I can't blame Canty or the other guards for the assist shortage. Harris and Bowers are so bad at finishing at the basket as well as catching the ball period that affects the stats very negatively.

What are you talking about? The thing Harris does best is finish around the basket.

Harris typically makes it except when he is fouled

Yep, Harris is solid around the basket. Bowers not so much. I don't think we get it to Harris enough to be honest.

He was 9-9 at one point in a game. If you have a guy that is perfect from the floor then you haven't gotten him the ball enough.

That game was just nuts. Klay Thompson took 11 of the Warrior's last 12 shots, the other being a Klay Thompson assisted shot

Good to see Williams back. Cross your fingers that he doesn't reinjure himself, which would be our luck.
