We have a team chemistry problem, and it stems from Bowers and Canty who for whatever frickin' reason think they're the next big thing of basketball.
I'm beginning to realize that they're using Auburn to improve their individual image, not necessarily help the team. I watch players like Bryce, Tyler, Horace, and (cough) Granger and on the court, they look so much more aware of what's going on around them. They aren't perfect, but they definitely look for opportunities for others yet aren't afraid to take their own shots. Meanwhile whenever Bowers or Canty get the ball, it's like they want to say 'it's showtime'.

But are you still holding to your earlier statement that our basketball team this year is not terrible?
7-7 and pretty much the worst in the SEC or very close to it

We are terrible now, but not with Dunans. The guy makes our offense go. The offense was good enough to cover up the bad defense most of the time. Not so much now. Losing Tahj didn't help matters either.

True. On the bright side, when Dunans gets back and if we can get Purifoy on the floor this team will look drastically different.

When half our team wasn't hurt we weren't terrible. Don't take shite I said 3 weeks ago and try and apply it to today.
Especially when I doubt you even give a shite about this team

Without Tahj,Purifoy and Dunans we have about the same level of talent as we had last year (given Spencer's youth anyway), only Bowers has gotten much worse. So yeah, without those two we are a struggle to be .500 overall team.

Its merely a question bro. Don't get so emotional. A few weeks back we were bad and we are still bad. I understand the injuries but thats part of it.
Wasn't trying to rile you up but just a follow up on our conversation.

No, we really weren't bad. I've seen a lot of bad Auburn basketball teams and this team through the first nine games wasn't what we've been in the recent past.
