Yes, worst call was fourth foul on Canty with maybe 7-8 minutes left. Called an offensive foul when one Hawaii player tripped over another. It wasn't even close. They also shot 34 free throws to our 13.

Man frick that. Let's get the guys back to Auburn to prep for SEC play. The New Mexico game was well officiated then they shite the bed for the Harvard and BYU games...

Where's our prediction thread for the year? I think I had us at 6-5 rolling into SEC play

I agree with this. I get 100 times more pissed watching Auburn basketball than football despite being much more passionate about football. It is so easy for refs to take over a basketball game and I feel like it happens too much in the college game.
Tonight was blatantly obvious, but I always have this gripe watching AU basketball. Game is stopped constantly for calls both ways I would prefer never get called. Heck they kept calling non-shooting fouls against Harvard as we were on our way to the basket for easy points. By the time they were foul trouble and we were in the bonus, the game was over. Just wish they would let the players decide the games more often.
Of course the fact that we still can't shoot free throws and I feel like every team we play can, doesn't help.

Louisville has a player who has started to shoot granny style from FT line. First year he has gone from ~45% to 60% and it is clear he isnt even good at it.

They want to make the game more fluid yet are putting an emphasis on tacky hand fouls away from the ball this season. Makes no since.

We were the better team. Refs were the worse I have ever seen. Bruce finally had enough and got a T. Played a walkon at point for a critical stretch during the game due to bogus foul on second bogus offensive foul on Canty.

No ruling on Purifoy yet either. Until otherwise told differently, I'm guessing Purifoy probably won't play this year.
