the guy just bleeds confidence. He knows what he can do and wants the ball in his hands to do it.

This might be the most complete team Bruce has had since the FF run. Probably not as talented as Walker and Jabari, but without the holes (guard play) that team had.

They’re not even in the same realm man. Tahaad is an absolute dog, you can see it in his face.

Man, I was thinking about that team this morning and what if NIL had started a year earlier and we kept Cooper. Would've been ridiculous.

Looking at CBSSports Top 25+1, we could potentially play 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 12 all before SEC play starts. That's insane.

That was also probably the most complete game we’ve ever played, too to bottom. Apparently the staff was very involved in game planning and play calling, especially in the second half. Just top to bottom great job by everyone.

Easy... while he did play well in his first game, we lost. That's a big difference. 2nd difference is the gym we played in. The game against Baylor last year was in a high school gym and the game last night was in an NBA arena. 3rd difference is Aden couldn't run the offense and was terrible at passing into the post.. Tahaad is already miles ahead of him in those areas.

Holloway was clutch at the start of the season last year. Talk me down from the edge and tell me what’s the difference, so Pettiford won’t fold
I can’t predict the future, but Holloway was pretty much limited to a catch and shoot player. Tahaad can create off the dribble and finish in traffic. He is more of a true 3 level scorer with what appears to be a tougher mindset. Time will tell for sure, but I’m optimistic.

We're all optimistic but don't act like we weren't all hard after watching Aden against Baylor last year.

Yeah but his limitations became clear pretty quickly. He’s an excellent shooter and that’s really about it. Then he lost his confidence and even that went away.

We also need to give Chaney his flowers. The guy quietly had an excellent game.

He did pretty good on the defending end.

He’s gonna be that guy that gives you 10 and 8 every night with the occasional freak athletic play.

It means exactly what it says.

Some games the staff is less involved in in-game decisions than others. From what Bruce said, they were very involved in-game and making most calls in-game.
