you sure seem to care a lot about the likes and dislikes of others.

just because the guy doesn't like NFL or MLB doesn't mean that he only likes soccer. How about you get outside of your little whitetrash louisiana bubble and experience new things. And if you don't want to do that, fine, but why the need to shite on other people for liking different things? Your insecurity is showing it's ugly head right now.

The thread title is "where would a Atlanta United championship rate". Not "you aren't a real sports fan because you like soccer and not the NFL".

You've spent the entire thread shitting on something that you have no clue about. How about you wipe your arse, get off the pot, and shut the frick up.

I like soccer, hockey, college basketball, and college football.

I'm pretty good at math, and I think that is 4 sports.

You know it's late November when ATL sports fans are internally arguing since one or numerous teams has let us down!

Oh you're right, I misread. Yea that dude is just a troll who doesn't really have any intent on having rational discourse. Most saints fans are on the Saints board.
I know a lot in real life living down here and they're cocky right now and I guess should be, however, there's no humble in their mantra.

I'm actually hoping they beat us this week cause we need the draft position to keep getting better. I'd love to see them humbled in the playoffs again though. I'm sure it wouldn't be that they lost but instead some massive conspiracy against them though.

Where would a Atlanta United championship rate

We obviously care about baseball and football in this town. Would Atl United bringing home a championship be on par with those sports?

this is the original post dip shite, maybe my its white trash arse from Louisiana, but it's about other sports

what the frick are you even talking about? Go home dude and leave the discussion for people who can have an intelligent conversation. You're in here spouting off about the dude not being a sports fan because he doesn't like the NFL. I can understand not being able to comprehend someone else's post, but you can't even comprehend your own fricking "writing". You don't even know what you are arguing about at this point.

I wouldn't even call this person a troll. Trolls are usually mildly entertaining.

Meh. I’d be happy but I probably wouldn’t even go to the parade.

To me it goes

Braves

Auburn BB
Auburn FB (only cause we’ve won one recently)
Falcons

Auburn Baseball
Hawks
United
Auburn anything else.

And I watch almost all United games. It just doesn’t hold the same stature to me winning it. Sure it would be awesome, but I wouldn’t be freaking out like Braves falcons or auburn.

Obviously cheering for them, but it pales in comparison to the other teams I grew up cheering for. Maybe if I lived in Atlanta. My friends there are all super into it.

For me it’s

UGA

Braves

Falcons

United

Hawks

I’d love to see the city win one and at least somewhat break the curse

I don't believe it's as high as a Braves or Falcons title, but I every bit think it's on par with a Hawks one. Not to mention, the ceiling is so high with the support in the city for the team. I've seen nothing like it, though my sports culture doesn't really venture outside of Metro Atlanta or the Mississippi Coast. I think the sky is really the limit for this team, especially if they keep winning. The games are SUPER HYPE. I wasn't even a soccer fan at all until Atlanta United. I couldn't even sit through 10 minutes of a game on TV prior. Now I can not only watch the whole thing, but genuinely get into it every minute it's on.

So if we can manage just one goal next week, then I'd say that just about wraps things up....but then again.....Atlanta

Only problem is that we're playing this week (Thursday).

But yeah, we can't be complacent at the next match.
