I'm arguing that those are good fricking teams man.

Can we all agree that if we go to New York next weekend and lose 16-13 to the Jets that there are problems here?
Can we all establish now that the Jets suck and anything other than a solid performance there and a win is unacceptable?

Retooc: They got some real dudes/beasts on that defense. You can't expect to be able to score multiple TD's against them. I'm seeing real progress.

Please stop. This is getting sad.
You’re now rationalizing the Panthers because they were in the super bowl 2 years ago and the Jets bc they’re a division rival. The Pats defense is not good. Our offense is worse. One has decent personnel and one has historic record setting personnel. Guess which one is underperforming.

Branch you have no business commenting on falcons ever. In fact you said as much last year when you were proven a fool.
But I thought we were a good team too. I think we can still be.

Ok, guess we'll have to agree to disagree. The Chiefs are a good football team. The Saints/Panthers/Texans are 7-9/8-8/9-7 teams. The Jets are total sewage waste.

Just because I've been wrong before doesn't mean I'm wrong now and it sure doesn't make you right.
I honestly can't believe there's a single Falcon fan ok with anything we've seen since the Green Bay game.

No, George, you don’t get it. The panthers were in the super bowl 2 years ago and the Jets have a good front 7.

Agreed 100%
I'm just not going to call it (Sark) a complete failure yet. Although it certainly is trending that way.

QB looked good today.
I agree jets are bad and that a good team (I hope we are one) beats them.

You know the point I was making. What else could could I say about the panthers?

No actually you said "blow it up" that is the ridiculous shite I'm responding to.
I absolutely expect better. But it's over? Blow it up? That's your response, not mine. And time may prove you correct. Maybe they never get back to what they had last year.

There is just one big difference, one coach is a perennial NFL coach. The other is a drunken retard that was mediocre in college.

I didn't see us being this bad but my god this offense is a dumpster fire, and getting worse each week. We won't win another game playing the way we have the past month. This team should be 1-5 right now, very lucky to be 3-3. 3 more in a row and the season is over.

When you change both coordinators after a Super Bowl run, and you blow the Super Bowl like they did, it's not surprising.

I really don't get the "Super Bowl Hangover" stuff. Each game is played in a bottle. Every game is different.
We're simply not playing well on Offense or Defense in 2017. Has shite to do with the Super Bowl last year.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why we are calling/running these deep corner routes on 3rd and 4th downs when 5-7 yards is all that we need. I distinctly remember 3 drives where we were having success moving the ball only to get to a 3rd and medium (or 4th down) and instead of picking up the first down we throw these high-arching passes on a corner route in tight coverage. These were key plays in my overall frustration from last night (along with the asinine penalties early on).
3rd and 4 from the ATL 24 - deep pass incomplete to Julio (if I remember correctly, this was tightly contested as well)
4th and 6 from midfield towards the end of the first half - deep pass incomplete to Sanu leading to a short field and TD for NE
3rd and 7 from the NE 17 - deep pass to the endzone incomplete to Sanu leading to a missed FG
Add these 3 plays to the goal line 4th down sweep by Gabriel, and you have a disastrous night on offense. Reminded me of that hilarious sweep that UGA ran against Vanderbilt on 4th down where McKenzie got destroyed by the Vandy defender. I loved that play. This one by the Falcons, not so much.

Did Shanahan not have someone working under him? Give that dude the job.

That would be Matt LaFleur, who's now with the Rams.
