They (saints) don't scare any team left. They peaked weeks ago.

They'll also say they should have beaten us twice because the refs only affected the first game, not the second.

I've learned to just cheer for ATL. But man, watching them yesterday makes me root for karma with the Saints. The players and staff:
1) Constantly doing those celebration poses and they're not even clever. They just look ghetto.
2) After the game Payton did the sweep thing with the broom

The fans:
1) Cheered while Newton went down (sure some weren't but a lot definitely were)
2) Bitched about conspiracies about the NFL being out to get them yet they're in the 2nd round of playoffs.

Oh well, I'll just cheer for ATL and whatever happens, happens.

I'm in the same place. We are going on the road regardless of what happens so it doesn't really matter to me. Each potential opponent has a unique homefield advantage that, to me, doesn't make one easier over the other. Last year I rooted for specific teams in hopes that it would benefit Atlanta's ability to host the additional playoff game. This year we don't have that and there are no teams that stand out as being harder opponents.

I do take joy in that we have the "easier" divisional game.

Man, I dunno. Don't bank on this theory. It's currently projected to be rainy and like a high of 50, low of 28 in Philly on Saturday.
Thankfully we play midday so it shouldn't be too cold but might be wet.

I imagine Freeman may have trouble with the ball given his recent struggles with fumbling a dry ball.
Philly's D is legit and I think #1 against the run and #3 or #4 in scoring D (the only one that really matters).

It's gonna be tough but every game from here on out should be tough in the NFC. I could make a good argument for all 4 NFC teams on why they could win the SB.

They're dangerous but I'm surprised at their lack of run game lately. They got SHUT DOWN in the run game yesterday and in both ATL games, we seemed to be quite effective at shutting that part down too.

Game 1 vs Saints: 50 total rushing yards
Game 2 vs Saints: 86 total rushing yards

You haven't seen the videos of the locker room celebrations. Yea, they kinda comical actually with Payton dancing like a tard and everyone else went wild.

Edit: I stole this from Saints talk:

and then this, which had me dying laughing:

Gotcha. I thought you meant he did it on the sideline like he did with the cane a couple years ago.

Oh nadda. It was in a locker room, which is why it doesn't bother me. However, he very well could've done it on the sidelines and then at the post-game presser said: "I don't remember that!".

Agreed. However, didn't we play some soaked arse game this year, maybe SEA where it was an absolute downpour the WHOLE game?
Maybe a little experience but yea, it's gonna be raining for both teams. So we gotta deal with it just as much as they do.

Yea, that was the one. Man that game had more rain than I think I've ever seen in a football game. If I recall correctly, that one was in the 50s though so not too cold.

The game this weekend may not have rain but be VERY cold.

I hear you on a lot of the things you mentioned, but this is exaggerated. I watched the replay last night, and was at the game on Sunday. The cheering wasn't for Cam going down, it was because they showed the decibel level on the video screens for a big third down play. Most people were celebrating a sack and didn't even realize Cam was hurt (I sure didn't) for a while.

The "Who Dat" chant is something that happens regardless of who was hurt, it came out when a Saint got hurt as well.

So, yeah... there are always idiots who cheer when players get hurt (I'm sure you guys have some too), but for the vast majority of people, the screaming was bad timing following a big play with a big play to come.

That game legitimately looked like it was being played in the eye wall of a hurricane. It was just pouring from kickoff until the end of the game and didn't let up at all.
