I’ve read ....substantially cheaper prices, more outlets, self serve, creates a better fan experience and more money for the owner!

True?
Sounds like common sense to me.

I dunno, I haven't been yet. however, the PSLs may be the death knell for the Falcons as it currently stands.

The Atlanta United don't have PSL's to my knowledge and them cats are ROWDY! I've been more inclined to go to an Atlanta United game over a Falcons game just based on the atmosphere.

fans have been saying this for years. I try my best not to eat at games. I'll buy booze but that's about it, and usually only 1 or beers @ $10. I would gladly pay $2 for a hotdog and $3 for pizza and $5 for beer

I have only been to Atlanta United games, but I can say that the lines for beer and food move relatively fast. The giant beer island at the doors next to the giant falcon (near supporters section for ATL UTD) moves pretty good, and the food place right behind it moves so fast that you typically have to let the person in front of you know it's already their turn. Prices are great. hot dogs / cheeseburgers are cheap af

When I go to Saints games we eat and drink before we get to the stadium. Limit myself to one or two beers at the game.
Way too expensive.

Concession prices at the Benz are really good. I can't speak for the beer prices, but I want to say bottled water is like $2/bottle and soft drinks are maybe $4, and they have the self-service fountains where you can go back and get as many refills as you want.

The food prices aren't bad either. Typical stadium food is less than it is at most venues, and then you have the specialty places - Jim 'n; Nicks, Fox Brothers, Antico, etc.which are a little more expensive, but still not the arm and leg you would expect.

I can see why it's resulting in more money paid per fan in the stadium.

If I walk up to the concession stand - even if I'm starving - and I see a pretzel costs $7, I'm gonna be buying as little food as possible and the smallest drink they have.

If I go up and see crazy low prices, I might splurge in more stuff and unwittingly end up spending more money.

Plus - I'll be in a better mood about what's being sold to me in general and be more likely to buy memorabilia, etc.

I went to a Falcons game, the SECCG and CFB NC. Prices were the same all 3 games and are crazy cheap for a stadium. I was thinking about ordering a couple $100 4 game packs to United games just to go see what everyone was talking about.

That's the way I am in Athens I buy maybe a bottle of water or 2 when its hot. I can't tell you the last time I ate anything inside Sanford Stadium.

At the Benz after I ordered what I wanted I spent more on bringing stuff back to my group for them so they wouldn't have to get up because it wouldn't cost me $150.
