The problem is, who do you replace DQ with?! Unless Shanahan wants to come back to ATL (no), then who’s really an upgrade?

Let this be a lesson kids: if you can’t succeed, fail so bad that getting rid of you wouldn’t make a lick of difference to the hole you’ve put your employer in. Dimitroff shouldn’t still be employed and yet...

This tells me that Dimitroff and Quinn are tied at the hip and the leash will be short next year

I think it’s more they have no choice but to ride this thing out because of how screwed they are with the cap restrictions they’re now facing. Falcons are going to suck for the next 2-3 years and no GM or HC is going to seriously consider coming here while stuck from personnel standpoint. This, IMO, is Blank and Co admitting that they’ve made a bed of shite and now have to lie in it for a little while

Yep. AB ended any and all speculation before the final game of the season. I was absolutely right, but, I was banned from Falcons Talk for making my prediction a couple of weeks ago. Lots of very tender hearts over there. They are so sweet.

People need to relax. This could work out.
The team in the second half is... I mean I can’t believe I’m saying it, consistently really good. The wins they’ve had they weren’t flukes.
My hope is they cut ties with Koetter. Or decide that they want to run the football. Get serious about it. We are just a much better football team when we run the ball. Chew clock, and MR2 is hall of fame in the play action.
Here’s to hoping for the best. I really respect this organization. They do everything right, and are a likeable bunch.
The veterans in the locker room need to take charge. We need voices. No bullshite this year.
I fully expect to go to the Super Bowl. We’ll do the right thing every day to do it.

No doubt. It could happen. Falcs already know how to beat the NFC West's best, and their own division.
