Warren Spahn might of been the best pitcher to play for the Braves but I never saw the guy play. Same with Eddie Mathews who hit over 500 homers. My lineup would be

Catcher Javy
1st base. Crime Dog
2nd base Albies
3rd base Chipper
SS. Furcal
OF Hank, Andruw, Murph
Pitcher. Smoltz

Some tough choices love Knucksie, Freddie, B Mac and Hubbard also

I saw him hit a walk off homer against the Expos one year. Dude hit a moonshot that almost got to the second deck in left field.

I'm partial to the lineup for our June 14, 1997 game against the Orioles (first game I attended at the Ted):

Michael Tucker RF
Andruw Jones CF
Chipper Jones 3B
Fred McGriff 1B
Ryan Klesko LF
Javy Lopez C
Jeff Blauser SS
Mark Lemke 2B
John Smoltz P

I'm assuming you're talking all time lineup so I'll go with:

1st Freddie
2nd Albies
SS Simmons
3rd Chipper
C. B Mac
RF Sheffield
CF Andrew
LF Hammer

(Sorry Murph)

SP Maddux
RP Smoltz

Fredi was just as bad if not worse especially if they were playing out west.

Pretty good, but Mad dog is the only correct answer for starting pitcher.

You don't like big asses?

It was a bad baserunning mistake. But he was a beast that year and that team doesn't get to that game without him.

I used to have this picture frame as a kid and it had a baseball diamond with empty spaces for you to put baseball cards in their corresponding positions. From my best recollection it went:
C- Olsen
3B- Terry Pendleton
SS- Jeff Blauser
2B- Mark Lemke
1B- ???
LF- Lonnie Smith
CF- Otis Nixon
RF- Ron Gant (He may have been LF w/Lonnie in RF)
SP- Steve Avery or Glavine can't remember.

1B had to be Sid Bream. Maybe Klesko, but I feel like he was after some of these guys. I could have gotten some of those wrong, but that is the Braves squad I grew up with and remember.

My all time squad that I've personally seen would probably be:
CF- Andruw
RF- Murphy
3B- Chipper
1B- Freddie
LF- Gant
2B- Lemke
C- Javy
SS- Furcal
SP- Glavine

Justice was RF, Gant was LF, and Otis was center. I think Lonnie played more when Otis was on cocaine. 1B was Sid and Brian Hunter

I was interpreting this as an actual starting lineup (i.e., guys on the team at the same time) not an all-time.

I still have to go with the worst to first Braves. A specific lineup is hard to remember because a couple positions really rotated seemingly evenly but it was something like (not in batting order obviously):

C - Greg Olson
1B - Sid Bream/Brian Hunter
2B - Jeff Treadway/Mark Lemke
3B - Terry Pendleton
SS - Rafael "Big Bat" Belliard
(Jeff Blauser also played a ton all over the infield that year)
LF - Lonnie Smith
CF - Ron Gant
RF - David Justice
(Obviously Otis Nixon played as much if not more than these 3 but I think he was kind of all over the outfield)
P - Glavine was the man that year with Smoltz Avery and Liebrandt all doing workhorse stuff the whole year.

What a fun team.

I mean, the guy who started the thread with the concept pretty much spelled out what his intention was by having Albies, Chipper, and Crime Dog all in the same lineup.

He sure did and then I went a different direction with his question. Hope neither he nor you are offended.
