I don't trust star Ok State receivers. Dez is a headcase and Blackmon fricked up his career with drugs

For some reason this year feels like a big move up to draft a key piece to me.

I could see this team targeting somewhere around pick 10 and putting a package together to move up.

That would certainly put you in position to draft McGlinchey or Nelson (G's from ND), Calvin Ridley, the OTs from Texas and Oklahoma, or Roquan. I'd be happy with any of these guys.

I don't like the OL options late in the 1st, but if we move up and get one, then sign me up.

I feel like we need to pay for either a G or TE in free agency and draft the opposite.

I think the three teams: Atlanta NOLA and Carolina will have to compete again for two spots between three teams.

It's a coin flip as to who the two will be. But I have a feeling it will be Atlanta and Carolina with the Saints having to sit out.

Tampa will still be garbage.

12-4 winning the NFC South
Even with 12 wins still 2nd or 3rd in the NFC

Carolina gets the wildcard

I want Maurice Hurst. Check out his tape, he's a beast.

Carolina goes as Cam goes. If he shits the bed they’ll be out

My official wishlist:

1. Resign Bryant
2. Sign Andrew Norwell by whatever means necessary

My draft preferences:

1. Vita Vea
2. Da'Ron Payne
3. Isaiah Wynn (if Norwell doesn't happen)
4. Christian Kirk

The Falcons have an open window right now to win the Super Bowl. OG and #3 WR are the biggest holes on the roster. DT will be if Poe leaves, which I assume will happen. We need impact players at DT and G. One should be obtained through free agency and the other with our first round draft pick.

ETA: With Grady Jarrett, we already have a stud interior pass rusher. Now we need to pair him with a big run stopper.

6'0" WR... Especially if you're even flirting with the idea of moving up to get him.

Hopefully our OG is solved in FA and we can get more of a "BPA" at a position of need in draft...

Roquan will be a top 10 pick. The only way I could see him falling down the boards is if he shits all over the combine has an equally bad day at the Georgia Pro Day.

Also, looking at the other schedules for the NFC South teams, I think it's going to take 12 wins to win the division next year. The Falcons have the hardest schedule out of the South.

Yep, 3rd place gets you Green Bay...again. This time at Green Bay. It feels like we've played them 5 or 6 times in a row at home

That said, are you referring more to the home/away matchups? I'd say that the Saints having Minnesota and LA trumps the Falcons having Arizona and Green Bay. Otherwise, the opponents are all the same.

I feel like both LA and Minnesota will take a step back from their seasons this year and finish with at least 2 fewer wins next year.

I don't think we do. I think the Saints do. GB is not amazing right now, they simply get the benefit of the doubt because Aaron Rodgers. Their O and D lines are not amazing.

Just read an article asking the question: "should the falcons trade Devonta?"

In my opinion...yes. Trade him to move up and pick an impact player. Clear his ridiculous salary from the books, draft a running back this year and let him play behind Tevin, let him take over in 2019, wash, rinse, repeat.

We need to sign Deion, Keanu, etc to deals and wasting cap space on running backs is not going to help us do that.

I like DeVonta but I don't love him. We just signed him to a huge deal so we won't/can't trade him but I like Tevin Coleman better.

Seems like TeCo runs better in the biggest games (Super Bowl, playoff games, etc).

I like Freeman but signing him to that extension was a terrible decision. With all of the young studs on defense who will need long term deals soon, that should have been the main focus. They should also get the Ryan extension done before Cousins resets the market value.

I'm not usually a huge fan of trading up in the 1st round unless you can do it for cheap like they did to get Takk last year, but I'd be willing to trade a good bit to get Vita Vea or Da'Ron Payne. I think getting into the top 16 would get one of them and getting to 12 would get either of them. The Redskins might go DT at 13 and the Chargers could go DT at 17.
