At what point do we actually stop treating him like he's our Ace? When he's on, he's fantastic...but to be a #1 you have to be consistent and he's just consistently bad now.
At the point where we actually have an ace step up to the plate.
The only time where Teheran has been "treated like an ace" is at the start of the season where he is allowed to be our opening day starter.

SJW are infiltrating baseball now, as they are now calling this the "business-person's special" instead of business-man's special.

I'm not going to lie, I fvckin despise Teheran. Have for 3 years. I hate the way he mopes around the mound. I hate how un-competitive he acts. I hate how he nibbles and then gives in down in the count. I just fvckin hate it.

The concessions area in the 300-level have very narrow concourse walkways. If the vendors have any sort of line, then the walkway gets congested in a hurry. I haven't sat in other levels to know if it is like that everywhere or not. I think the 400 level shares concessions with the 300 level, so that makes it even worse.
Yea our seats are in the upper deck(s). The concourses are really narrow. However, it's only really an issue at certain times when the place is jampacked. It's not ideal for a new stadium and they definitely goofed on it, but it's not terrible.
Everything else is awesome. The Battery is quite frankly perfect. I can't even come up with anything I would change about it. If the Galleria/Cumberland jumps on the new "ATL" microregional transit thing and is able to vote themselves into the train circuit in the next 5-7 years then it will be perfect.

It's a completely different environment that is better in pretty much every way. On weekends before games, the Battery is usually slammed.
Anyone who complains about the Battery/gameday with a straight face has either never been or doesn't really care.
I couldn't come up with a better before/after example of something that was terrible and is now awesome if I tried. And that is mostly based on last year when the place was about 50% done. They've already added 2-3 more things that look awesome and have 4-5 more on the way. It's just fantastic.

It's so far north west of Atlanta. I grew up in south Atlanta (Fayetteville and PTC) that I couldn't ever imagine going to game up there. That'd take the south atlanta folks a solid 1.5 hours.
It's really not that far. It's 8 miles up 75 from Atlantic Station and literally 1 mile north of the City of Atlanta limits on the Chattahoochee.
Nobody would consider Northside Pkwy/Mt Paran/Paces Ferry out in the suburbs. SunTrust Park is 3.5 miles up 41 from there. It's just funny to hear people talk about it like it is in Kennesaw. Nobody talks about the Perimeter area like that, and the Galleria is closer to Midtown/Downtown than Perimeter is.
- Lenox Mall to Midtown is 6 Miles
- SunTrust Park to Midtown in 10 Miles
- My house in Brookhaven (next to Oglethorpe) to Midtown is 10 Miles
- Perimeter Mall to Midtown is 12 Miles
If the City of Atlanta was as big geographically as most big cities are SunTrust would probably actually be in the City, and it would certainly be surrounded by it. Now, the big thing that all those other locations (Perimeter, Brookhaven, Lenox) have that SunTrust doesn't is MARTA. And it does make a big difference trying to get to/from Midtown/Downtown.

I've visited probably 22-25 MLB stadiums since I was a young kid, and I always walked away jealous of the stadiums that were built in established neighborhoods with bars/restaurants surrounding them. The atmospheres at these places were always buzzing and we never had that in Atlanta. The only thing that came close to it was walking by that bum under the interstate bridge that played drums after every game.
The Battery is everything I hoped it would be, and 100% better. That was the thing that had me most excited when it was announced that they were moving. I didn't care about the new stadium and I didn't care too much about the location (at the time I was living in south georgia so it didn't matter one way or the other. now that I am living in Peachtree Corners, the new location is much more convenient).

Unbelievable! This team kinda reminds me of the '13 team when they were pounding the ball early in the
season.
season.

I remember being on my honeymoon in Costa Rica that year at the start of the season. Everytime I checked in on the Braves, Justin Upton had jacked another homerun.

Or Gattis. That team had some talent:Simmons,McCann,Justin,Freeman,Heyward and Kimbrel in the bullpen.
Never should have lost to the Dodgers.

the same team played like arse the following year which led to this whole rebuild. Had they performed like they did in 2013, then I don't think you would have seen such a firesale of talent.

This park seems to be hitter friendly in spring.

hopefully folty can keep his emotions in check for this next inning. don't get too amped up to where you can't throw strikes.

This is the Folty we need!

Great start to the year with 3/8 starters (Acuna, Comargo, Flowers) out.
Like I said above, just get me back home for Acuna Time at .500.
4-2 with 9 straight on the road vs good teams. 8-7 would be just fine with me on 4/16.

Transaction updates:
-Chris Stewart designated for assignment. Kinda surprised by this, as I'd rather have him in there as opposed to Perez.
-Akeel Morris traded to LAA for future hall of famer PTBNL
-Luke Jackson called up

Stewart wont be claimed and he will be sent to Gwinnett for a few days, and then they will bring him back up and do the same to Perez since both are out of options and have to go through waivers.
