that guy sure does have pretty good stats for someone who strikes out so damned much.
it shows how much the game has changed. Braves fans used to bitch all the time about Andruw's strikeouts, but never even came close to the high 170s. I think his worst season for strikeouts was 147, and he only topped 130 four times.

There is a lot of talk out there with us and outfielders. I'm guessing we end up moving at least one of Kemp and Markakis. I'd love an outfield of Frazier, Inciarte, and Acuna 
Sounds like Teheran is getting moved as well. We have all heard that before but different GM now. AA is going to do his own thing.

We should be able to trade Markakis. And, at that point, do whatever with Kemp. I don't care if we trade him for a bucket of balls and eat 75% of the contract.

It's still shocking to me how awful the Marlins are. They literally just had to trade the reigning MVP for near nothing TOTALLY because of the dumbass contract they gave him. That's it. That is the ONLY reason.

LOL - add in Albies and Acuna graduating and it would be dang near the bottom.
Ain't getting Machado, but getting Yelich and Archer would clean it out pretty good.

I think this is going to end up being a very quiet offseason. I think AA wants to see what he has in all the young kids, and he is probably looking at that free agent class next year.
All I am hoping for is that we can trade one outfielder, so Acuna isnt blocked in any way going into the Spring.

Great trade
-Gonzalez DFA because he has no spot to play. We are only keeping 4 bench players because of 8 relievers, so we need versatility
-Culberson offers that versatility. 2B/3B/SS. Good bench guy
-McCarty is good, but is always hurt, so a half year of him is all we need.
-Kazmir is injured. DFA possibility.

Love this trade. Get rid of Kemp, get a utility guy who can play everywhere and get the "veteran" stopgap for the rotation.
And, Kazmir is an interesting possible reclamation guy as a swing starter bullpen guy. Last year he was injured and bad, but the previous 3 years he was solid. He could be old and done or he could have another year.
