I’m actually a big Tech fan. They have all triple option players so maybe the first few years will be tough.

for sure. i wasn't even that upset, although some of the idiots over on the rivals board are melting in a big way.
it's a bit amusing that they lost to an option team doing the same shite to Tech that we used to do to more talented teams.

for those who care about such things, the magic number for the Dodgers to clinch HFA in the NL is 8. Both teams have 11 games to play.

stopped reading those boards a long time ago. The Hive specifically because that 1990jackets asswipe ruined every thread with his option-obsessed bullshite.

Is it official that Camargo and Culberson are out for the season?
Amazing how we went from big depth concerns when Ender, Swanson, Markakis, McCann, Riley, etc. were out to signing/calling up a bunch of guys that immediately started producing and then getting injured guys back and wondering how we were going to choose from an abundance of options for playoff rosters spots to now starting to look a little thin again with injuries to Ender, Camargo, and Culberson. If Camargo and Culberson are done, the decisions start to become a lot clearer. Hate it for those guys though.

Ender Inciarte is currently completing some leg strengthening/running exercises in the outfield. The Braves are hoping to activate him before next week's series in Kansas City

Markakis gets a hit, bottom 1st. Guy is amazing.

Pre-sale verified fan tickets should be up at noon.

yep, and I'm pissed that I got put on the waiting list. I was selected for pre-sale verification last year (I think) and bought tickets for all games. This year I'll have to wait and get the scraps leftover (if there are any).
one of the downsides of the smaller stadium is that it becomes much more difficult to purchase playoff tickets (especially if you are on a budget)

What's the best strategy for buying these? I was selected for the pre-sale, but I can probably only make a Friday night game.
Do I just buy tickets for several different games and hope the schedule works out in my favor later? I'm assuming it would be pretty easy to resale them later if I wasn't able to use them?

as it stands, we are basically guaranteed a schedule that will be home on Thursday/Friday, away on Sunday/Monday, home on Wednesday for the NLDS. For the NLCS, if we play the Dodgers, it'll be away Friday/Saturday, home Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, and away Friday/Saturday for the NLCS.
last year the picture was much less clear, so they gave you the option to buy up to 3 games for the NLDS labeled as Games 1, 2, and 3, and if we ended up losing out on homefield advantage, then you would get tickets for "Game 1 and Game 2" which in reality was Game 3 and Game 4 of the actual series. They would refund you the money if you bought tickets for 3 games in the NLDS and the Braves only ended up hosting 2.
I'm personally going to buy tickets for every game and sell if I can't make it.

It looks like they are doing it similarly this year. They have options for NLDS home games 1-3 and NLCS homes games 1-4.
I'll probably buy tickets for NLDS home game 2 since that will definitely be on Friday and then buy for NLCS home game 2 and hope that we somehow end up hosting.
Unfortunately, I feel like we will definitely get the day game on Friday for the NLDS since LA is on the west coast.

Damn those things were going fast. I managed to get 4 for NLDS game 2 and 2 for NLCS home game 2. I'd love for both of those games to end up on the weekend.

What a disaster. I kept getting a message that i needed to use another computer then it finally started working.
6 for NLDS 2 and 4 for NLCS 1. We think NLDS 2 is Friday?
