Acuña just stroked one, his 39th HR of the year.

yeah, that was a monster shot.
if we are being honest with ourselves...do we think Acuna is stealing these bases because he is trying to help the team win, or because he's trying to pad his numbers to get to 40/40? lol I went and looked at the numbers and they were extremely low in April and May. In June they were decent. he started running a shite ton after the all star break.
regardless of the answer to that question, I think it's awesome. I wished that Andruw tried to run more before he got fat. I love this part of Acuna's game.

As long as it doesn't hurt the team, steal on.

I'm not sure what a good SB% rate is for the baserunners, but it doesn't seem like his CS numbers are terribly alarming, so I agree...have at it kid.
speaking of hurting the team, wtf is up with Billy Hamilton getting picked off several times already. can't have that shite in the playoffs. If Ender makes it back before the end of the regular season, I don't see Hamilton making the roster.

Generally you want to swipe bags at around an 80% clip to make it worthwhile. Most guys have a hard time getting to that target, which is part of the reason SBs have decreased league-wide.

80% seems like a reasonable target. Acuna is exactly at 80%.

looks like Camargo is officially done. They went from saying "day to day" and no big deal (Camargo's words), to a fracture and likely being done for the remainder of the season/playoffs.

Extremely small sample size but he was hitting again too. He probably earned a postseason roster spot being a super-utility guy. Now I wonder if he plays for the braves again.
3rd base is such a weird thing for the braves going into next year. At this juncture you can’t say Riley is the guy. Can we re-sign Donaldson or sign Rendon? Camargo wants to be a full-time 3rd baseman but the Braves clearly don’t think he is one.

For perspective, there have been about 300 no hitters, but only 99 immaculate innings.

Charlie Clutch looks seriously hurt.
Tried to lay down a bunt but the pitch was high.
Looks like he look it on the face. Fox Sports South won't show the replay.

They showed one replay. It didn't hit the bat. Maybe the umps are saying he offered at it??? I don't think so. baby be reviewed because it is a balls and strikes call.
Snit is gone.
fricking bad situation

Acuña with a 2x RBI double. 3-1 Braves.
Sounded like there were a shite ton of Braves fans there, which in my experience is normal in DC.

Saw someone take a fastball to the face back in the day. I was catching, and the pitcher was known for throwing gas but had a control issue. The batter turned his hips and upper body towards the mound as he was swinging, and guess didn’t process the ball was coming straight at his face. Then, pop! Swung all the way around and then spit out blood and teeth on the plate as he collapsed to the ground. Umpire called it a strike

frick the gnats and their manager for arguing for that strike while Charlie was down. That beat down serves them right. Hope those transplanted Expos get their shite pushed in the rest of the way and completely whiff on the playoffs. They deserve it!

No, I’m pretty sure that’s going to be Tech’s win total this year. Citadel?
I’ve been at the beach all weekend and haven’t paid attention to shite
Ready to go for the Falcons tonight.
