Young might be as good at driving and finishing as anybody in the league. His touch is remarkable. Maybe Luca Brasi (Doncic) is more efficient but this kid is going to be great for us.

Last nights game was fun AF. Trae is a superstar. Been a while since we’ve had one of those on the Hawks.

Basketball, yes. I’d say Acuna or Julio otherwise. Acuna really only one you see on national commercials.

I'd say Julio is by far our biggest superstar, considering how much of a giant is, compared to baseball.
Acuna is definitely a star, but, if Trae continues down his path... it's over.
It'll never be Acuna's fault that he's getting jumped- Major League Baseball does an awful job of promoting their stars. Mike Trout is one of the top-10 players of all-time and he's virtually unrecognizable on a national scale.

Trout is also on the west coast and on a boring arse team. If he was on the Yankees, Boston, or Cubs he would be biggest name possibly ever.

If you're a generational player, it shouldn't matter.
Giannis Antekekoumpo might play for the lamest franchise in basketball and he's a global superstar. Durant played in a dust bowl the first 8 years of his career, and he's also a global brand.
The NBA has long been king of marketing players, and being on the bleeding edge of fan interaction. Baseball is run by old hags who don't have a clue what fans 35 and under want.

Welp Trae looked like he sprained his ankle pretty good.

Can we not have at least one good thing?

I watched that game. Our defense is pretty bad. I hope Trae is okay.

Trae's ankle was better today and no MRI needed. May be back as soon as next week per Woj.

Huge.
If we can somehow win tomorrow night without Trae to be 3-3 after the first 6, against what are sure-fire playoff teams, it'd be huge.
We don't play again until Tuesday after Halloween.

Sucks for the TNT guys who expected to have the Trae show on halloween for their national TV broadcast...
Hopefully we can (somehow) steal a W tonight at home. Earlier tip (7 v 7:30) - guess it's for the kiddies.

have we seen if Trae is coming back this week? I was thinking about trying to make one of these home games but haven't seen anything, although I admittedly haven't tried too hard

Trae is questionable tonight, but John Collins just got suspended for 25 games for some type of growth hormone.
