The past 6 quarters the defense has finally shown life and the offense has gone dormant.

Everyone learned just to Rush 3 and keep a spy on Taylen.

Even if you don't get pressure on Taylen, he acts like he's pressured anyway.

Taller skinnier KJ. Said about both. They are in the wrong position.

KJ was a tight end and Taylen is a possession receiver.

officials for one thing. I have never, ever seen officials be this bad, and I have seen the Florida Debacle over and over in my brain.

My goodness!

People learned to put a spy on Taylen and knows he’s not smart. He stares down one receiver and when it’s not open, he holds the ball. He had all the time in the world to make a decision and was a reason for holding calls. Oline can only hold blocks for so long. So he’s going to hold the ball or run, put a spy there and shut it down

This is what happens when the best player on the field is allowed to be quarterback past high school.

In college and NFL it is rarely the best athlete and more the best autistic decision maker that can sling it. Someone who is willing to just set there and make the same throw over and over until it’s perfect on top of being able to tell which way the coverage is going.

None of this makes me think of Taylen or KJ. They have always been more gifted than anyone they come up against so why put in the work of reading a defense?

It's obvious Taylen is a softy. Doesn't want to get hit.

He will have a perfect clean pocket to step up into, and he will run backwards 10 yards and get sacked. Just stupid.

Doesn't throw the ball away when its obvious he should do so.

Also, there have been multiple times when nothing was open downfield and he has an easy running lane. But for some damn reason he waits 2/3 seconds too long and gets 5 yards when he could have gotten 15-20.

This is the best athlete on the field syndrome. He believes he is quicker than everyone because he always has been. He believes he is stronger than everyone because he always has been. He has never had to process a game at a high level and the past two years have proved he can’t do it. Give me a slower, tougher kid that can throw on time and to spots, not a bomb every time, but can process the defense is crashing or dropping back. Those are rarely the most athletic kids. Wilson and Allen were tough, quick, strong enough, but smart enough to know they can out run or out throw everyone. There is a reason Allen has been in the league for 10 years.

Taylen is shell-shocked all of a sudden.
But Saturday on that last drive we didn't help him at all.... get him on the edge... don't put him in the pocket...

But MY GOSH.... DON'T THROW TO YOUR CHECKDOWN IN THE FINAL MINUTE AND HAVE TO BURN A TIMEOUT

Junior High QB's know that......

It’s not all of a sudden. It’s been as soon as actual pressure is applied. First 3 quarters he is playing loose. 4th he comes in and starts forcing it.
