Singleton lost the starting QB battle at Purdue to a sophomore UNC transfer backup last year, another overhyped for no reason Arkansas transfer.

The real question is if Singleton could not win the Purdue starting QB job, just how bad is Green?

Idk Green is on every award watch list for a QB and in the top half of the SEC the other couldn't beat out a backup transfer on the worst team in the B10.
