Hot Springs was the Vegas before Vegas.

Forgot to mention The Beer Keg. I think it was a bit safer. Then again, until recently I kind of just always thought White Star was a 3rd shift bar for the Budweiser and other factory workers(when Fayetteville actually had some blue collar jobs and a middle class could exist). Fuzzy’s too - used to go in there and get burgers to go with my dad.

I have consumed many a cold beer there back 25 years or so ago. Back when Butch owned it.

We went to Brenda’s bigger burger.

And I thought white star was the drunks from South Fayetteville and the small town construction workers.

Don’t know. That seems to be what White Star is now but I’m pretty sure Rhonda from Rhonda’s Roadhouse owns or somewhat recently acquired it and has cleaned it up in relative terms. Also used to go to Brenda’s as well. Miss Linn’s Chinese. Mong is gone too now :(
