No I think someone created this rumor that a firing was imminent and Gus’ name just came up because of his ties to Arkansas. I don’t think they’re that dumb to try and go after him then fire Sam because he accepts. His name will always be brought up in these situations. Just like Urban and Gruden get brought up but those two will never coach again.

I do think it’s our dumbass media and like I said it’s a mistake for the university to have media guys where they spend their time on hogville. It’s a disaster having that liability with them on that site.

I don't either. Yurachek is not a dumb man, and he knows it's his job to get donations and butts in the seats on gamedays when it comes to the most profitable sport on campus. He knows the bottom line will suffer if the product on the field continues to flounder, and you just had your team get blown out at home in embarrassing fashion with fans booing and an empty stadium by halftime. You had a football team that underperformed last season and performed even WORSE this season.

He pulled the trigger on Chad after 2 seasons because of the same things we're experiencing right now.

You just don't survive a loss like that. Period.
