Should the idiots who claim they are selling their season tickets have to root for another team?

I say yes. Get on board now or get run over by the train when it starts rolling.

They don't have tickets.

I used to confront them and ask them to post their seat locations so people can upgrade/buy their seats but they never reply.

There might be a few season ticket holders who pull their donation/seat location but that would have happened with Gus or w/o Gus-----basically whoever we hired.

It pisses the "realists" off but most fans buy tickets to support the Razorbacks not the coach.

I thought the hire was kinda meh and I wouldn't be surprised if he fails but I'll support the razorbacks no matter who the coach is. We just can't have such a long leash. If a coach can't get to 8 wins in a 13 game schedule in his first 3 years then he needs to be let go. Winners win. Look at petrino, Saban, smart, Peterson, etc. Most great coaches are going to win big by tear 2 or 3.

I'm sure he'll get at least 4 years unless it's a complete disaster as in not bowling for the first 3 years

He might get 4 bit he shouldn't in my opinion unless he gets to 8 wins at least once. Also no extensions unless we get to 10 wins or better

There are exceptions to this rule, but yeah, this is generally true. Awhile back I saw someone made a list of some of the all time great coaches and their records. A LOT of them tend to knock it out of the park in their second season. Some others take awhile to get their program built, but once they get it there they have built a program that is a consistent winner. I don't know that Arkansas can even build a program that wins at a high level consistently over a period of years, but if they can it will be built with an emphasis placed on great defense and a dynamic offense. Strong redshirt program with top tier player development. Time will tell.
