No saying we win (that’s asking a little too much) but do we at least cover? I’d assume we get at least one score in the first half and he probably doesn’t miss Whaley on the wide open pass down the middle

I’d honestly say we might have won. That’s a completely different offense with him in there and the defense wouldn’t be gassed.

The first half was such a clusterfrick on both sides it's really hard to say. A lot of different positions effected the game tonight.

Playcalling would have still lost us the game, barely....

That is the problem

That’s true. I think with him in the game and the offense clicking the defense has a lot more energy. I thought the defense did good first half but we went full high school gimmick offense

As a defensive player I’m sure defending for an offense that hasn’t been worth a crap in 14 games is tough. Hard to stay motivated when you know their going to suck.

We could have started Joe Ferguson in his prime with Matt Jones to come in and run some read option and we would have found a way to lose this game.

That was, in all my years of watching Razorback football, the worst playcalling I've seen and I made it through the Houston Nutt years.

The defense did their job through the first half and beyond, it was the offense that set the pace after that.

I think we finally put our puzzle together tonight between Chad, Chavis, and the QBs

We will be surprised from here.

I still remember the Flexbone-Crowe-Ford days.

I thought that was a once in a lifetime period.

I never thought I would have to live through it again.

I was wrong.

Depends on how many times he tries the "not so wild hog"

Tonight was a weird one for me because I agree with all of this. I think we'll still win a conference game or two, but I also came away from tonight convinced that Morris is an idiot with personnel choices and his judgement of talent should be questioned. That or he cares way too much about his player's feelings and has a bleeding heart for the graduate transfer. Neither are qualities I want in my head coach.

It pisses me off that Sparkel didn't start this game. Instead, Chadwick pulls out the g-damn double reverse pass in the first half to try and take a shot down field with Hicks. Doing his level best to allow an inferior QB to play for an "SEC" squad.

Hicks body language wasnt great. Whole situation really reads like the better player was on the bench based on some strange loyalty to Hicks.

So what do you think is going to happen once his son and wife finally become Arkansas residents?

What terrifies me is it started in camp and lasted to this point. Starkel looked better in drills. Starkel looked better in scrims. Starkel looked better on film. Starkel looked better in week 1. EVERYONE knew Starkel was better.

Yet Chad Morris starts Hicks. Twice.

What conference games are we winning?

This feels like a dumber, less confident version of hootie without the recruiting, motivation and dumb luck.

Kentucky and MSU are absolutely winnable. We've got some OOC cupcakes to tune the offense around Starkel and time to actually find an identity. I haven't completely given up on the season due to the talent of the players that are finally getting on the field. This is in no way an investment into Morris at all. He needs to get his shite together and stop this diplomatic crap and just win football games.
