I want to beat y'all, but, truthfully, y'all aren't in the forefront of my mind. I guess it's because I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where it's a bunch of LSU, followed by Mississippi State, then Ole Miss, then Alabama, then Auburn and the occasional jackass Tennessee fan.

GSD is our number one for sure, but I think the Stand Up or Sit Down rivalry is a close second.

I think it varies based on where in Arkansas you live. Those in Texarkana will hate Texas from birth. Those on the southern end will hate LSU. The younger fans will hate LSU, and I imagine the northern portion of the state will grow to hate Mizzou as that series lengthens. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather beat Texas than anyone.

While we have a good rivalry with LSU and Ole Miss, and we might develop one with Mizzou, there isn't that sense of bitter hatred you get with Texas.
That having been said, beating LSU in football is the gift that keeps on giving.

I hate Texas, I respect LSU but love beating them. I think the Missouri deal while forced may turn into a decent rivalry.

I'll say the Mizzou thing won't ever happen. They're just too calm and midwestern. I am trying to think of what there is to hate about them. It took me a while tonight at the game to remember that it was even a conference game.

For some tFlagshippers, namely numberwang and Stonehog, the #1 rivalry is Ole Miss and it's not close. They're Rebsessed AF.

I guess LSU next living here in South Ark. But I cheer for them other times. So, I could never do that for a true rival. Maybe Mizzou. Ole Miss had potential with Nutt there, but that's faded. Just frickING TEXAS!!!!!! If we went 1-11 and beat their arse...it's a good year. Still feel that way.

second, i live in nw ark so missouri makes sense for me as a rival. although sw missouri is very rural and half of them are hog fans.

Still Texas in my mind. I don't care for LSU at all but it's still not in the same league with how bad I hate the 'horns. Do not care about mizzou. they are like the lone yankees in a room full of good ol' boys.
