There’s no difference between this shitty product and chad morris. 5-7,2-10 who gives a damn. I’m glad Hunter went the cheap route instead of giving kiffin what he wanted.

Texas just took a sledgehammer to #2 Gonzaga. It's looking like that win wasn't a fluke or us being too cocky. Texas is just that fricking good this year.

which sucks, with them coming into our conference. We need to handle them on the hardwood for the near future to keep momentum. Beard is a great coach!

They definitely go most of the year untested in battle, but their deep tournament runs say a lot about how it's not all just perception and the media. We know for a fact we're pretty damn good this year. We might have an off game or sag in the middle at some point, but we know we're likely a legitimate top ten team. We got our asses whooped. We know Gonzaga is some level of pretty good. They just got romped.

Texas is legit, like it or not.

At this point they are. We will see if Texas does what they’ve always done or if Beard can keep it going into late February and March. Historically, Texas can fold like a cheap tent late in seasons.

Happened under Penders, Barnes, and Smart.

here's where my money is on the Texas exhibition game...

Muss did not give a shite about wanting his top players to shine. He DID give a shite about them all working within the system with and for each other, as a team.

Think of a hypothetical high school football team with normal talent, except Jalen Hurts is the QB.

Do you just tell Jalen to go score every time and you win 77-0 and the rest of the team never improves on blocking or route running? They just know how to celebrate Jalen touchdowns?

That does nothing for the team.

Like ole Gene Hackman playing those four players instead of five in Hoosiers. Muss knew what he was doing.

If you ever see 7 on 7 summer football camps, you see the same thing. Some schools are there to "win 7 on 7", but the smart coaches are there to play within the parameters of what's realistic to actual Friday nights, and they don't give a shite about "winning the 7 on 7" - they give a shite about their QB's reading proper progression and everyone else running precise routes, thus improving

the dipshits are out there hurling bombs and "scoring touchdowns" because, "hell why not, our dumb asses are suppose to throw it every time"

convert that back to exhibition basketball with a baseball analogy - Muss was teaching "small ball" lessons, not swing away
