Enos to Miami, which really adds to the theory of Hurts to Miami. Not that we are in contention anyway.

I'd rather start KJ than have Hurts come here one year. He's not gonna be able to teach KJ anything. KJ is already a better QB. Hurts needs to switch to WR or RB tbh no one is gonna draft him as QB at the next level. He's a Houston boy so I wish him all the luck in the world but man he's almost as bad as Tebow passing the ball.

As the resident expert on MS high school football, I can tell you that KJ will need at least 2 years before we can start him. He played in the 3A classification against some very low level/low talent schools. He will need a year to learn Morris' (or should I say Craddock's) system and then probably another year before he is ready to compete at a high level against college competition. He is going to be a project. He may play in his second year, but he will not be "The savior" at that point.

Arkansas desperately needs Jalen Hurts

No we don't. We need a 4 year starter and for a QB to develop to an elite level. I just don't see the benefit of Hurts coming here for one year. Our offensive line sucks arse, and because of that he will do horrible. I don't care about all our new recievers, we are going to suck arse offensively next season because our line can't block a stationary brick. We will continue to suck arse on offense until Chad actually develops or recruits real talent on the oline. So why start someone who isn't that good and leaves in one year over starting someone who can develop and become the QB we want and need? You can't be short sighted about these kind of things. Jalen is a product of the system. If he doesn't have all the pocket time in the world from an NFL caliber Oline and a plethora of wide open recievers he's going to look mediocre at best. This isn't me talking out of my arse most analysts are highly skeptical of Jalen Hurts suceeding at another school that isn't elite. He's just not that good.

I agree with your analysis on KJ. He's not a savior, he is a project and he needs real game reps.

Yeah, they did this past year. But I'm thinking it could be our most improved unit next year. Returnees having another spring under Morris and at least one, if not both JUCO's probably starting... plus hopefully having a QB that makes quicker decisions and getting the ball out quicker will make them look better as well.
