I think some of it was simply that we threw the ball. They claim it was because BYU sold out to stop KJ, but teams have been doing that all year. We just finally reacted to it.
I saw KJ miss several open receivers throughout the game. Not to say he didn't have a great game, but it could have been better.

Just think how good our offense might have been if Pittman hadn’t been holding briles back all season. Probably beat Aggie and possibly gotten into a shootout with state and maybe even bama. But Pittman can’t get over being conservative. You gotta let your shooters shoot coach!

Pittman said at the end in the press conference, he wasn’t trying to score, before correcting himself and saying they stopped us.

If they sold out to stop it, then they are way worse than we are. Still had 277 yards rushing.
