I think Franks could play in the NFL if he got into the right offense and O line situation.

At least be a decent backup.

No way. He can barely keep up with the college game. NFL's going to be way too fast for him. He's got the arm but you need way more than that to make the NFL.

The biggest factor in this game was offensive line play.

Eh, I'd argue that the single biggest factor in this game was depth - particularly on defense.

35 should be enough to either beat or HANG WITH most teams and keep it close, as long as your defense is getting a stop every couple/few drives. Granted, I know we wouldn't have scored 35 had we not kept getting the ball back almost immediately after UF scored and gave our offense a million chances, but that still goes back to defensive depth.

Oline was the single biggest factor for our offensive production, but they still would've had to outscore 63 points. Not happening regardless.

Our 2-deep on defense plays with attitude and hustle, it's just too much to overcome when the other side is STACKED with NFL talent everywhere - especially at QB. Our guys are good when it comes to positioning and hustling to the ball, they just didn't start with a 5 star base talent they could build off of like other defensive juggernauts and top programs. They make up for it in heart and drive, but sometimes it's just too much to overcome.

I still love this team and this coach, and love the way they play. We're kind of a rag-tag group of underdogs that were pieced together out of scraps, ashes of the Bert and Chad eras, and transfers, but we're playing fantastic considering.

Can't wait to see what Pittman's, Odom's, and Briles' recruiting brings to the table as far as guys MEANT to fit the system they're trying to implement. Right now they're just working with the hand they were dealt and doing a damn fine job of getting everyone to play above their heads, let's wait and see what happens when they get to choose their own pieces of the puzzle.

He has back up scout team qb written all over him right now. But it's not like he's playing poorly, and he could figure out the nfl over time. He wouldn't be asked to run as much.

He's like 68% completion with 16 tuddies to 3 negatuddies. That's pretty decent in the swc. He's not having a record breaking year but he's playing very well

about half way through the season with a 1st year HC, ... .dude.... Dude... DUDE>>>>>

With a coach that could recruit the last two years but lost the team and didn’t develop players.

The coach before quit recruiting his final 2 years too.

All I know is KJ isn't the answer at QB.

Serious question, why do you think this? Not hating just genuinely curious.
