People have been saying about the yell leaders that it is just a matter of time that they will become elite. This goes way back to the SWC years.
They care but they spend money and get nothing from it. They bought Eric Dickinson a car, only for him to drive it to SMU because he said he wasn't going to play for the yell leaders.
They spent 10 or so million dollars on a recruiting class and lose it to the portal.
They spend a ridiculous amount of money on buyouts but only get mediocrity in return.
Arkansas gets accused of being cheap but no program in this nation is as stupid and wasteful as the yell leaders.

Is it though? How many empty stadiums did they play in front of this year. We played in front of a couple at least.
