Board is scheduled to meet, I think, May 23 and a decision will be made then.

Steinmetz and ChexMex have probably already made their decision and submitted it to the board, but the POTB and the GOBN make this call, not the cheese spreaders that work at the University.

Governor Asa Hutchinson wants games played in LR
Jan Morgan supports games in Fayetteville

I’m hearing 1 game every other year for the next 10 years with an agreement on some minor stadium upgrades.

We need that gun-toting broad all over Arkansas politics. It would be an incredibly entertaining train-wreck.

Isn’t much of a decision but only an announcement we are waiting. They decided before choosing the next AD the importance of LR games for tradition and memories at the cost of not benefiting the program. Yurachek has said as much but WMS is about politics and selfish people and not what is best for the Arkansas Razorbacks - LINK

Who will they require as marquee opponent and how much money will be sunk into that decrepit facility once again to pass the bare requirements needed of a SEC venue for one game...

Is Tulsa HC game this year? I’m cool with 1 game at WMS as long as the Dallas game ends.

Don't think this is happening anytime soon. Although the Aggies would be glad to end it.

She wouldn't have voted for that 1.3 trillion shite most of our guys voted for

we need her to move to NWA and unseat Womack's arse

edit: I know she's "running for governor" but we need her in the house, or someone like her

Yes, we stuck Ole Miss there instead of Vandy

Dallas game isn’t ending. Morris values it and our university understands the importance it provides in recruiting students from the metroplex to attend school at U of A.

They will have to stagger the schedule so in Fayetteville on campus doesn’t end up getting only two home SEC games in a season though. Road team in Arlington with home team in LR means Fayetteville gets 3 but what do they do with LR when Hogs are home team in Arlington every other year.

having Ole Miss in Little Rock is not bad - the history of the rivalry fits in Little Rock very well

Well ya, we are actually doing some a favor that were going to travel but it is funny because everyone just assumed it would be Vandy.

Here’s the question: Are the fans only here to serve the athletic program or is the athletic program here to serve the fans?

Some people get this ? wrong

The fans of the team want the athletic program having its best change to win and succeed, no?

Here's the question:

Why do fans bitch about mediocrity and expect elite results while forcing the Razorbacks to play in a dump located in little rock - arguably the worst city in the state.

I understand that war dump is closer for people. I guess it's too hard for some fans to make the trip from their trailer park.

However, if you want the Razorbacks to win then you should be happy to drive to the campus - which is located in one of the best places to live:

TRUTH!

Think about it. Which program is our most successful over the history of Razorback athletics?

Track and Field

How many meets were our track and field teams forced to run in little rock?

Why did Tyson build one of the best indoor track and field facilities in Fayetteville not little rock?

How many track and field championships (National, SEC.... hell - even sunbelt) are held in little rock?

Think about Razorback programs with recent success?

Women's golf and gymnastics have been highly successful - neither were forced to play in little rock.

You should really get out and travel the state if you believe this.

I don't care one way or the other about playing at WMS. All the rest of you can squabble about that.

Fans like to be critical of the team, coach, and/or athletic director but they can't take criticism or the truth about little rock and war memorial stadium.

Stating that little rock is a dump is not a insult to you personally.

Pointing out how horrible wms is should not offend you.

There are some damn good fans all over and even outside this state. There are also some selfish one's who will blindly argue for games in little rock simply because it's easier for them to get there.

Hell, there are some media members in little rock who never make it up to the hill but report on the Razorbacks who feel the same way.

However, if you looked at the money and the conditions and you truly wanted what was best for the Razorbacks - then you would want all the home games on campus.

The only reason we should continue to play in little rock would be if Stephens decides to fork up 200 million to renovate the stadium to Jerry World standards (not size but quality) while giving a donation as generous as Jerry Jones has given the Razorbacks - until then we need to stay home.

It doesn't, I already made fun of its condition in this thread. I'm totally fine with them never playing there again with a stadium that bad.

The whole NWA vs LR thing is still dumb
