It sounds like Jalen Merrick is done with football. Danny said he’s going on a medical redshirt and it might be the permanent one.

I just can't do it. I was drinking it 2 weeks ago. Then reality set in for me that our o line sucks monkey arse. I expect the defense to have to win us a few games this year.

Kind of hokie 'acting' maybe, but they were actually rehearsing what to do in certain scenarios. Scuffle on the field, what to do. Sudden change fumble recovery, etc... Hokie, but attention to detail.
Don't want some of those out of norm things to occur and folks don't know what to do.

Yep. I challenge anyone to look at the two deep at OL and explain how we beat two SEC schools.
5-7 is our ceiling. Morris is recruiting well at all other positions. It's not his fault that bert didn't recruit OL the last few seasons. The new staff will eventually recruit us out of this hole. Hopefully everyone can be patient for a few seasons.

A few takeaways:
Damn still no Jamario Bell in the two deep.
No Montaric Brown.
No Kyrei Fisher or Alexy Jean-Baptiste.
No Jordan Jones.
Damn I can't wait to get Jackson back. That left side is scary. Not that Jackson is good, but at least he has experience.
I wonder how long before Austin Capps is starting at LG.
