Play man high and tight on our guards
Because they sure as hell can't get the ball down low and would rather force a deep 3 anyway

UNC beat us the same way

The recipe to beat us is just to show up and let us trip on ourselves and play stupid basketball for 40 minutes. I've never seen a team with such a drastic lack of direction in the midst of games in my life. They have zero clue what to do once that ball goes up.

It's clearer than that. Keep Mike Anderson as the HC. We just assured ourselves another 5 years of this shite. Hooray!!!!!

A weird stat to note is that in many of our games, we've had exactly 10 assists.

Overall, assists have a huge correlation to our win percentage. In all of our losses (except MSU), we had less than 11 assists in the game.

I think that tracks with our characterization of this team has a streaky good offensive team that needs to improve on defense.

I will say that I think our defense has gotten better the last few games.

15-6 is pretty good at this point in the season. 22 wins including the SEC tournament gives us a 99% chance of making the tournament. Some of you guys have just been so wrong that you refuse to believe what your own eyes are seeing. It's ok to be wrong sometimes.

I know of 15 schools that you should send your HC resumé to.

I love this team
But if you guys don't see that they aren't playing up to their talent and potential, I don't know what to tell you.

We shoot horrendously from the ft line and every guard that touches the ball would rather score himself than create opportunities for the team.

Okie st simply stopped scoring in the last 1/4 of the basketball game and we still only won by a point after they missed 2 layups.

Again, I love the guys on this team but they are all trying to win it by themselves.

Okie st stopped scoring for like 8 minutes

That team is worse than us and was missing 22 ppg of production.
I get a w is a w, but we shouldn't struggle against teams like that with the talent we have

I do hope so.
I just don't want us pushed down to like an 11-12 seed or bounced out in the first round because we can only muster 50-60% from the line.

We rank 308th in ft percentage and last in the SEC in assists per game

Outside of beating OU, which I had a great feeling we would, 15-6 is not very good. We have 3 glaring losses that should not be there (Houston, Mississippi St, LSU). I can forgive Houston as it was our 1st true road game. We have not had a convincing win since starting league play and really bad losses.

Making the tournament this season was supposed to not be in our minds. What was in our minds was whether this team would be as high as a 3 seed or fall down to about a 7 or 8. As it stands, a 7 seed would be a godsend.

With this many seniors we should have good technique on both ends and should be sharing the ball a lot more.

Also, our effort of the defensive end should be there every night.

I've seen very little evidence to support that we are doing these things.
