I agree, but they countered by having one of our true 3 pt shooters completely gone.... Just cover Jones by frustrating the crap out of him and it is over.

We used our tenacious ball movement to free up shots, it isn't happening anymore. And, they seem wore out.

Kenpom dropped us down to 42 and we are now projected 20 wins with being underdogs against only Florida.

We have to win all 4 at home(miss St, Missouri, Tennessee, LSU) and hope to pick up 2 on the road(Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M)

Looking like a very tall order now

9 conference wins will probably be enough with a tournament win. Might be close but I think it gets it done. Our non conference schedule has really picked us up the last few weeks.

It is certainly possible but I'm worried that the team just looks out of steam right now. I'm not sure we have enough in the gas tank to finish really strong.

We should know by this weekend. Extra rest because we played on Tuesday instead of Wedesday. One of the last good opportunities to get a good home win. Miss St just got the breaks beat off of them as well. Theoretically we could lose Saturday and still go on a run but I think this is the make or break game.

That gets us to 23 wins, 8 losses

I almost nailed it up to today, just missed the South Carolina game.

Revising our remaining schedule:

Mississippi State - W
@ Florida - L
Missouri - W
Tennessee - W
@ Georgia - Tossup W
LSU Tigers - Tossup L
@ Texas A&M - W

This gets us to 21 wins.

Is our matchup with Florida just terrible. I have watched several of their games and they are great or even good honestly. But we all know matchups are the sign here...

Gas in the tank was not even close to an issue last night. Everyone's attitude just stank, period, especially Mason's. Some of the worst shot selection I've ever seen in my life, and the bad attitude fed into that. When your leader has a bad attitude, the whole team does, and that definitley ahowed itself last night. Looked like we were playing a pick up game on offense. I expect Muss to make this a wake up call for this team, and let them know, if they come to play with that kind of body language and attitude again, you might as well just pack it up, throw in the towel, and go tf home. You're D1 college basketball players still on the inside track to makng the tournament. You have the opportunity of a lifetime. I know we have an uphill road ahead of us, but do you want to look back and think "Damn I really pissed it away with a bad attitude and just not believing in myself." That cannot be undwrstated. That team did not believe in itself last night. Suceed, or lose giving everything you have. Last night's effort was unacceptable, and it waan't cayse they were winded, they just clearly did not give enough fricks.

I didn't see what you saw in the game. I saw them overmatched with height, and losing a step and pep in the game.

I also saw a defensive game plan by Tenner that took us off our game plan and stuck it right in our faces.

But to each their own...

With 6 games left I think we can forget about 22 wins and the NCAA tourney. Joe's injury and lack of a legit big is killing us.

We should make a legit run in the NIT with IJ returning. Surely we finish with 18-19 wins. Mizzou, UGA and maybe Tennessee in tBud.

Not a bad season considering the injuries.

I agree with everything else you said, but I don't think we bring Joe back for an NIT run. Just let him sit out and heal, get ready for next year. The NIT is not worth the risk of re-injuring his knee.

If it is anything close to questionable I agree

Truer words were never spoken. It would serve no real purpose to bring him back early for the NIT.

Just wanted to say the boys looked so, so much better the other night. Game play wise and attitude/body language. I'm not rulling out the possiblity of a little win streak to end the year.

Arkansas may still make the tournament. They may get some benefit of the doubt due to strong OOC showing, good road wins, and Joe being out for a critical 5 game stretch.

Get to 20 and win one in the SEC tournament and I like our chances.

16-5 w/ Joe, 1-5 w/o him and he was definitely clutch late in the game. I think they can make the tournament but have to play really good basketball down the stretch to do it.
