He’s not it’s just funny to see people who hate Gus so much they would take Petrino over him. That is some Hogville level stupidity right there.

Bobby is just as likely as Gus.

Which is just as likely as Arkansas making a bowl this year.

It takes a particular kind of stupid to think that Gus would be the answer at Arkansas.. and that particular kind of stupid is one that is immune to logic and reason.

Without knowing it, you hit the nail right on the head.

It is "his" church... Not God's, Not Christ's but "His"...

and His program, His Team, His Players, His Ego, His way... even if wrong, His Coaches, His State...

He has a Cult following and he is David Koresh... of the football world..

I wouldn't go that far. I don't think either have a good chance but one is more likely than the other. A lot of things would have to happen for Gus to get the job though.

Complete self righteousness...

Let's all cool off. We're all pretty close on here. No reason why Gus or Petrino should cause us to argue. I apologize for my comments, I hope we get the best we can.

Why didn’t you do record by year?

I didn't do record by year for any of the coaching records.

Fuente overall record by year:

Memphis:

2012: 4-8
2013: 3-9
2014: 10-3
2015: 9-3

Virginia Tech:

2016: 10-4
2017: 9-6
2018: 6-7
2019: 6-3

For funsies.. here are the last 4 years of Frank Beamer:

2012: 7-6
2013: 8-5
2014: 7-6
2015: 7-6

I think maybe since Fuente had a bad year last year.. that you think he's failed as a coach? He's gone to a bowl 4 straight years. When was the last time Arkansas went to a bowl 4 straight years?

All I see is a who succeeded in the American but regressed in a P5 job as his successor’s players graduated out.

That should eliminate Norvell right? By your logic anyway.

Brilliant observation Stevie Wonder.

I'm guessing you're just fricking stupid. I mean seriously. That's your takeaway?

I can see why you love Gus now.

Oh Wait.. No I can't..

Didn't he do worse after Chizik's players were gone?

So fricking triggered LMAO

But to answer your question

quote:

Didn't he do worse after Chizik's players were gone?

He improved Auburn from 3-9 to 12-2 after Chizik left and has a .674 winning % since he took over (as you you pointed out, thank you)

Also fun fact, he was the OC on the Auburn NC team.
