Ahem... Several of you (us...) are acting like idiots, some of us, (Not me) actually are idiots.

You think a pretty boxscore means we can't talk about his bad reads?
The better question is why you think talking about his bad reads automatically means you think he's a garbage quarterback. I nor anyone else in the gamethread even eluded to the fact that Franks was outright bad. Many criticized his decision making abilities, which is more than fair.
You really need to stop being so sensitive when it comes to player criticism. I have already personally made threads on this board talking about how pleased I am with Franks at QB this year. That's why when you do shite like this, it comes off as weird.

Yeah, tell me about it. There's a reason I rarely ever post on this board anymore. We have a lot of idiots here and this same shite is relitigated over and over. We have too many "sky is falling" types around here who lose their fricking shite the moment anything goes wrong.

If you had paid any attention to the conversation you may have realized that I was talking to folks who were saying things like, "he is a fricking idiot" or "he can't do anything except throw well to his first read" etc. If you don't fit in those categories (you don't because I just went back and looked), just keep your mouth shut. When I jump your arse it's because you jump in on the other side.
Users StlHog (or whatever his name is) and Beaverfever (or whatever his name is) were both riding him down pretty heavily. And I didn't even take issue with beaver either. We eventually agreed.
You hadn't said a damn word that jumped out to my attention until you jumped my arse (I hadn't said a word to you in the thread to that point.)
Question, you seem to think it's okay to call other people idiots. Is it not okay for me to call you one as well?
Franks went 17/26 today for 339 yards. One touchdown rushing, one through the air. Led the team in rushing yards. That's a good game by any standard.
Now, and in the future, if people are talking shite about our best player on the field I will call them an idiot. Because that's what they are.

It wasn't the right or wrong call. More like damned if I do and damned if I don't. Kick a field goal it would blocked or missed. Go for it and odds say it would be a turnover on downs.

With the wet conditions kicking the field goal is a perfectly understandable call. We had a chance to tie the game. Up to that point there had been several dropped balls and players falling down from both teams. Bitching about kicking the field goal is literally the worst thing to be bitching about.
People wanna bitch? How about bitching about the fact that our QB with "zero pocket presence" (another sterling contribution from Drewbie

I also stand by that statement. In order to be dead last in sacks in the conference, there are multiple things going wrong. The line is rough, but it's not just them. Franks has a problem with holding the ball too long and not feeling pressure coming fast enough to respond in time to escape or get the ball out. Call me a Franks hater all you want, I honestly don't care. The actually reasonable people know it's just one of the downsides we have to live with in order to get his upsides. He has arguably the most consistent deep ball of any QB Arkansas has ever had.
