One thing for sure….we need energy and accountability. He’s got both.
A lot goes into winning games and there’s 15 other very good programs, most if not all ahead of ours right now, lately because we didn’t have the extra energy and accountability at the top. Pittman is a great guy…but energy isn’t the first word that comes to mind. I know a lot of y’all love Petrino….but dog cussing kids isn’t accountability…and I don’t think integrity jumps to the front of his description either.
He’s fresh, sounds fun, has a track record that’s hard to poke holes at….and as a guy who did things myself with a lot of the same “you might be smarter but you won’t outwork me” mentality….i like it and am pulling hard for him to succeed.
Armchair it if you want, but there might be more productive things you could do with your time than sit around and dream up possible negatives.
P.S. I’d like to see the same energy in the AD position.

I am sure those buffoons with the paper bags knew all that mentioned about Silverfield before traveling to campus and donning their paper sacks

That had to do more with Hunter and being a fricktard that he is.
You have the locks media spending four days hyping up a guy who signs with Auburn in the search the follows with the guy signing with Ole Miss.
Most disturbing phrase used in the presser was "legitimate NIL" translation is Hunter thinks the NCAA is going to have a control over and say what is legitimate or not.
This is the problem every team in the SEC has vacated wins somewhere in their history while Arkansas continues to follow the rules, this doesn't work when you are the only one doing so.
Second topic over looked was the university had to reallocate funds to meet maximum revenue share total for football. Meaning they were not at the maximum before hand, sucks but all the Olympic sports will have to cut back just like they do every where else in the P4 conferences. Glossed over was that the reallocation occurred after donations were secured to make up the short fall elsewhere.
These two topics demonstrated everything that is wrong with the program, the mindset behind it and why you have students protesting when a hire is made outside of the home run hire that didn't exist in this cycle.

Only other thing missed was they will continue to not have a student fee for athletics which Acri on the Buzz has said were the only SEC school to not have. That’s just free money if true.

Sleeping next to a washing machine doesn’t mean he’s going to be able to succeed here, or even have a good chance to do so

I admittedly wasn’t a fan of how the search went down or the initial announcement. Trying to hold off on drinking the koolaid but I’m starting to see why we hired him.
Most coaches preach accountability and effort and are demanding…but the good ones are leading from the front and not asking you to put it more work than they do. The difference between a boss and a leader.

That’s not the point. Point is he’s willing to put in the hard work and do whatever it takes. It may not translate to wins but certainly a breath of fresh air compared to what we’ve been seeing.

I just don’t think people were wearing paper bags because they thought HY was a poor judge of work ethic
