You can laugh about it all you want, but it's the truth. Similar population densities in state, but Oklahoma shares their state with OSU. Both major programs in Oklahoma rely HEAVILY on a metroplex that is hours away from their campus.

The similarities between Arkansas and Oklahoma are obvious. The only difference is the "tradition". A "tradition" that has been manufactured because they have had more success in their coaching hires. Arkansas is exactly one head football coach hire away from being every bit as strong a program as OU, if not even stronger. Again because we don't share our state with another Power 5 program.
