I just don't have any experience in working in an office setting like this so I don't know how outside relationships effect the work place if at all.
Could she have enough pull to get you fired?

Got dayum it's gonna be hard to go to work tomorrow.

Especially if she dressed like she did today.

Act like you give zero fricks. She'll be around for a while, it'll drive her nuts. Bet you bump into her on Dickson in the future a few times...She can get you so bad with HR in the future if anything happens...literally it's so easy for a guy to get fired.

I've banged several ladies from work. Never had a problem with it. The ladies and myself have always been able to separate work and play. Although, I did marry one of them once. Didn't affect work much really.
Really depends on yours and hers mental fortitude.

You are in Fayetteville. There is no shortage of pretty girls. I wouldn't risk my job to bang a co-worker especially since she is around your office every day. Of course, if she has seniority over you, then it actually looks worse on her.

I worked at a Tex Mex place my freshman year and fricked a couple of my coworkers and one of my managers (23) but never had an actual relationship. It was all fine and dandy with us though. I'm sure I was Eskimo brothers with some of the other guys there though. Some of the girls were pretty kinky and things always got crazy at work parties. But that was a college student run Mexican place. Obviously not a very professional work environment. If she won't frick you over if things go south then I don't see why not though.

1. find the office gossip and get the inside scoop on the office environment and your girl, bribery with food or coffee should work wonders
2. As lomg as you don't get any major red fflags it's all good to go
Now you may say my office doesn't have gossip, bullshite they all do you just got to find the person that the most people talk to when things are slow or the person who quietly sits by all day listening to everyone talk.

She probably likes you because you're new and she's bored and demands attention.
You'll only be the new guy for so long. Better strike now.
Also, start sending your resume out again.

At 51, I'm old enough to remember a kindler, gentler time... a time when it was perfectly ok to fool around on your own time with the lady of your choice--even if she was a coworker. You were expected to compartmentalize.
"You two just be cool, and don't bring any s$%t to work" was said to me at one point. Not only that, but med school and residency at a large public teaching hospital was a frick-a-thon for many guys and gals.
But now I'm older, and as I've gotten more into the management side of things in medicine, my eyes have been opened to the myriad ways that one can literally f&*k themselves out of a job. The workplace has evolved greatly, and your generation seems to be incapable of 'being cool.'
Don't do it. Grow some self-respect and honor.

Nope
You don't dip your pen in the company ink
You don't get your honey where you make your money
Nothing but trouble. Keep it zipped, go home - fap, and watch some TV. Do not seek the treasure.

Oh Lawd no...just don't. I have watched a few throw nice careers down the drain bc they couldn't keep it in their pants.
Recently watched a friend throw her 20 yr career down the drain bc she had a relationship, it got sour, he turned in a grievance.
Not worth the trouble, no matter how hot.

this would be a no-no.
for now, anyway.
IDK how old you are Drewbie, but I know that you ARE familiar with women. You don't know her. DRAMA. You are new to this job and you don't know who she really knows. If you piss her off or weird her out....you could be saying bye bye to the new job.
You can find a piece of arse anywhere at anytime. Jobs? Not so much
