No one has claimed the vaccine is 100% effective, literally nobody, yet here you are going “but vaccinated people have gotten it!” as if people were denying that. The point is that it makes you far less likely to get it

His point is that the vaccinated are also spreading it. The person he responded to clearly insinuated only the unvaccinated were spreading it which is 100% inaccurate.

Unvaccinated are far more responsible for the spreading. While it’s still possible for vaccinated people to get and spread it, they took the steps to protect themselves, but, again, it’s not 100% effective.
His comment was aimed at people who refuse to take preventative steps when they’re readily available. There’s no point in getting mad at someone who took the preventive steps yet still got it/spread it.

While they are surely spreading it more, there’s no way to know the degree to which this is true since the CDC ordered the medical community to stop reporting breakthrough cases unless they required hospitalization back in May. At this point, with this Delta variant, it’s nothing more than an assumption that the unvaccinated are “far more” responsible because it’s not being tracked at all.

Without getting more details, there’s also no point at getting immediately mad at someone just because they are unvaccinated. If someone had COVID already, data is coming out that they’re around as protected as the vaccinated who haven’t had COVID so there’s not necessarily a need for them to rush to get vaccinated. To lump those people with the unvaccinated who haven’t had it makes zero sense and is extremely disingenuous.

Guess your too lazy to read up where was stated that no vaccine is 100%. Plus NOBODY has said masks only for the lemmings, but that doesn't fit your narrative. The vaccines are saving lives by preventing people from getting as sick, or not sick at all. What's more virus levels in those that have been vaccinated falls much more quickly thereby reducing the chance of spread. Lastly, both masking and vaccine have proven extremely effective, while the lemmings are killing themselves and others.
As far as what you claim is "self righteous", ho is trying to save peoples lives "self righteous". Especially compared to callous disregard for others lives you and others have been exhibiting. The truth is it's laying the blame where it firmly lies, and the lemmings don't like it. Frankly, those of you in that group are just shitty people. You don't like that, I don't care.

First read what I said, not what you think I said. Never said for vaccinated people to not take precautions. Not mask up, etc. Vaccinated people ARE the people trying to stop the spread by various means and ARE being responsible. Therefore it is only logical to conclude that the relatively lesser number that are infected, reduce virus load much more quickly having less chance to spread Covid, while employing know effective measures. Also states and countries with a very high vaccination rate are having very little difficulty with the Delta variant. Sorry, but it's the lemmings clustering up, not masking, not getting vaccinated that are doing most of the spreading.
Actually the data coming out is if you had Covid and were then vaccinated, you are strongly protected.

The damn masks that people are wearing are not effective. They stop a covid virus about like a basketball goal stops a baseball. You would have to have N95 masks to have any real protection.
The vaccine is still a 'wait and see'. I took it. We'll see what happens down the road. Some people would rather take their chances with contracting a hopefully mild case and gaining natural antibodies which are being shown to be more effective than the still not fully FDA approved vaccine. That should be their decision to vax or not.
There is NO WAY that the government should be able to force you to have a substance injected into your body if you don't want it. Period. End of story.

All of you whining about laws and regulations are free to move to some third world country like "Congo" where there is basically no government, no laws, and are complete cesspools because of it. Hell, just go to Mexico where the water is not safe to drink, often no sewer system, food can't be trusted, and health care is lacking for all but a few. All resulting in extreme poverty which leads to drug tariffing and violence.

Actually masks have been shown to be VERY effective right here in Arkansas. Funny how when people stopped wearing masks, Covid exploded again. No need to go any further than that. That you can't/won't understand how and why they DO WORK is not valid evidence that they do not work.
As for the vaccines, have been given to literally MILLIONS of people with exceptionally few issues. Compared to 620,000 dead Americans from Covid, and unknow more with further health problems, some likely for the remainder of their lives due to the damage Covid has done to them. Plus the suposition that people are better protected if they recover from a Covid infection rather than protection from a vaccine, very likely not true, though a couple of recent studies have shown those recovered from Covid THEN vaccinate "MAY" have superior long term protection.
Instead the lemmings rather compromise others health, and cause deaths than do the tiniest moral thing of wearing a mask and getting vaccinated. I guess 620,000 dead Americans aren't enough for you. Good luck "splaining" that away.
