He repeated this several times and emphasized how proud he was of this team.
Outside of throwing special teams under the bus, no mention of what will be done to show improvement in the win column.
Arkansas won the stat sheet tonight. The defense was really impressive holding auburn to 225 yards in the game and less than 100 yards in the second half. Short yardage situations and being gassed late in the game, again, led to the point total given up and yet another blowout loss.
While I don't think Auburn finishes in the top 10 this year, I don't think they fall out of the top 25 either. So with that in mind we have the defense to keep this team in the game with everyone on the remaining schedule not named Alabama, but yet again it will be another wasted opportunity with a defense capable but an inept offense that doesn't convert in the red one or sustain drives to help the defense out. It still doesn't excuse being blown out by the fricking color green or losing to csu, everyone is going to focus on the special teams shite show, the defensive staff has more than earned their pay with the turn around on their side of the ball, the offensive staffs inability to put the ball in the endzone has really hamstrung the entire team. How many times has the ball been inside the 30 with zero points to show for it this year? You can't help but think a Nutt running game would have had the game close against auburn and sitting at worse 3-1 after tonight if paired with this defense.
Is the offenses inability to put away csu, ability to give the game to the color green, and refusal to find the endzone on Saturday's something to be proud of? Or are we again forced to resort to finding the moral victories week after week?

I’m perfectly fine with a moral victory tonight, far less frustrated than I have been. It seems there may actually be improvement and something to build on. That’s all I really hoped for this year.
If our special teams would just be a tenth decent, we wouldn’t be that bad I don’t think by the end of the season.

I think at this point a moral victory on the road is what we need. We need to celebrate guys playing hard and improving. This is the mindset to rebuild a culture.

I saw remarkable improvement tonight.
What else can you hope for

It sucks, it sucks a lot, but at least we weren't that pathetic today. It's improvement.

Defense played well enough to win the game.
Because OL was Bert’s self-proclaimed specialty, it’s going to take longer to get rid of his smell in that particular personnel group.
Overall though more positive takeaways from this game than the score would indicate. It’s just what they have to work with this year. Stay on the recruits and sell sell sell...

Because it's obvious.
We must continue to stare into that damn mirror

I am proud that Kevin Steele was nice enough to hold off in the all out blitzing until the second half. That saved us some embarrassment.

When will he put us in the left lane so we can Hammer Down?

You know who is not proud of this team? DJ Williams. Epitome of a Razorback. Good enough for this fan.
