Just sayin... It would be fitting to cap off what may be the worst day of Arkansas Fandom history with what may be the next great up and comer coach (and yet Arkansas talent at that) going to yet another next door, in conference rival school, while our band of BoT/GOBN idiots squabble over Butch Davis and everyone else had their shite together.

An Arkansas man will make Arkansas great again, not a Wonderboy.

By the way our AD goes about his shite, I would bet he wanted to wait and "be patient" woth Drink and Mizzou got wind that Ark may make a move, then went all in and outflanked HY again. It would only be fitting that he kicks our arse for the next 10 years..

And isn’t Miz on probation, going to be down some scholarships, etc?

Bowl ban this year, low pressure for a first year HC to continue to cut his teeth.

So, I heard earlier that Mizzou was interested in Clemson's OC. They were in Charlotte tonight. Might not be Drink on that plane.

But the real Clemson OC is battling out Houston Nutt for the UTSA job right now.

Boone is like 40 min from that Wilkesboro airport while Charlotte is about 1.5 hrs.

Plus if you're going to meet with Clemson's guy, why not just land at a metro private airport?

Could also very well be a plane not associated with the AD.

Yeah Boone NC is a very popular weekend getaway, right up there with Boca.

Sorry guys, I don't know jack shite about NC and it's not important enough to me to look it up on a map.

I'm not going to get all worked up over this since it's not anything any of us can control.

Very strong argument for them, that’s for sure.

Yeah, but you could probably make that case for every state. My parents took me to NC in the early 80s, but all I really remember was touring a battleship.

You’ve clearly never been to Ohio.

You should go back as an adult. It's a really nice place. Really really nice.

Can't make that argument, at least in my mind, for several states. The gulf coast states, for instance. None of them hold a candle to a place like North Carolina. Someone already mentioned Ohio. I would add the entire Midwest. Doesn't compare to North Carolina.

None of the states I've been to -- none -- are as nice as North Carolina. Except Hawaii. Those are hard to separate IMO.

Beautiful state.

The NC Appalachians around where Boone is I think around the where the shot Last of the Mohicans. I've read that Boone is also a really cool little historical mountain town.

Apparently. Drink improved App state recruting last year. I imagine it's not the easiest place to get to, either.

Colorado is literally a continuation of west Texas and a mountain.

Iowa tourism campaign should be "Do you like corn? If you do, then we have a state for you"
