I have no qualms with this teams defense. None at all. They have showed that they can play halfcourt defense very effectively.
I'll be anxious to see what tonight's performance does to their overall defense rankings. Last I had heard, FIU was only shooting 28% from the field. And this being a team that scores points at a high clip.

Isaiah Joe has now hit 26 three pointers through 6 games. He is on pace to shatter Thurman's record of 106 in a single season.
He is also shooting a better percentage from behind the line than Steph Curry was shooting as a freshman.

This kid is only gonna get better. It's a godsend to this team. Because as we get into conference play teams will have to start accounting for where Joe is at at all times and that disallows the defense from crashing on the interior to stop Gafford. These guys are gonna tear folks up.

I knew he be good but didn’t think 18ppg game good. Even though the competition hasn’t been particularly strong

Andy Katz released his bracket today with Arkansas in as a 6 seed.
Joe Lunardi released his latest one a few days ago and had Arkansas at the top of the next 4 out. Basically 5th team out.

I mean anyone trying to create brackets at this point is making a ton of assumptions. It just show Arkansas has been getting more respect. Joe didn't have Arkansas mentioned on his first release.
