I thought you were 19? If you are you would know all the kids wear socks with slides.

Fairly common thing with basketball players. I know we used to do that back when I played and the players I knew in college would do that too.

My two grandkids have done that from Jr. High to HS

Don't you have a rock to climb under?

You didn't. Good try though. I'm not gonna get rustled over people talking this guy down. I frickin know what kind of coach this guy is and this hire is the best I've seen out of this University since Petrino. And that includes Mike, who as you know, I'm still a big fan of. This guy is much better than Mike. And Mike knows it too whether he'd admit it or not.

We could've pulled the popcorn guy out of the upper section and he would have been better than Mike.

Im glad you got your guy. Here's to hoping it works out.

I don't see why anyone doesn't like this hire. The only one I'd pick over him of the options I've seen discussed is Beard.

I would've taken Marshall first. But he may have hit his plateau. There are coaches with better resumes that were tossed around, but im not sure they would have been better.

We've tried the established coach route before and it hasn't worked out (except for Petrino). Who knows.

Im coming around more to the hire. The fact that so many of the idiots on Hogville is excited makes me worry

You seriously can't be younger than 30 or you were surrounded by only white people then wearing socks with slides has been a thing for young people (especially black athletes) since like 2008. If you were in HS or college at anypoint since then it's literaly impossible for you to not have noticed.

Watching Finebaum and hearing a lot of positive about this hire. Way more than I heard for Morris. Callers from a variety of places saying that Arkansas and the Aggies got the best hires.

After listening to HY and seeing how he has handled the coaching search and firing MA, I really like this guy. We are in much better shape with him leading the Men's Athletics vs under Long.
