I dropped my season tickets after the 2016 Missouri loss and was told by Jeff Long that winning didn't matter at Arkansas.
He convinced me that I shouldn't renew my tickets and I did just that.

because you really don’t care if Arkansas football wins or loses. You said it yourself what matters is having a nice activity for your family to do something. You care about a nice Saturday out in the fall in Fayetteville the football is just a Backdrop. If we win it’s nice but if we lose that’s fine too. Like you said you still get to fellowship with friends and family and eat nice food. Which is great and all but shows the difference between some fans and others. Nahh, football is the reason we go... but I learned something along the way. I used to be so sour after a loss and bitch and moan. It didn't change anything. I enjoy the wins much, much more.. but I still have my kids, health overall, occupations I love, great friends, and family. Again, not 4 pints man.

I watch NFL every Sunday, and during the playoffs. I watch SEC football quite a bit. But, if it is a choice of watching another team and spending time with my kids... I will spend time with my kids.
Again, I used to get so freaking surly and ruin the day for everyone because of a coach who makes millions, kids who make thousands, lose a game of pigskin. Not anymore... bro! I loved it when BP was HC prior to the Harlot on a Harley indident. BUt my perspective have changed for the better imho.
