I still remember when I was in the 9th grade we got new hard arse coaches. There was a kid who would have been our best player coming to practice late and didn’t have his cleats but just tennis shoes. The coach got pissed and told the kid he was off the team and literally told him to not let the door hit him in the arse on the way out.
I was shocked, but he sent a message and everyone was a believer after that. He took a team that had won no games the previous year with a nice guy coach to only losing 2 games. We were too white to beat the speed teams from pine bluff and such. Those dudes were fast. Or maybe we were just slow….haha.
Got to nip it in the bud as Barney would say.

Going just from what Washington has said he wasn't a fantastic team player while he was here, he's dealing with some mental health issues, and he's totally out of sync with the coaching staff. The second one is sad, that is tough for anyone, but particularly for a youngster.
The other two, however... that will get you kicked off any team. Pro, college, HS, or peewee. Especially in this era of NIL where schools have to carefully manage their money across all sports.
I wish him the best of luck, but he shouldn't be on the team.

Our Oline had a good game against a high school Dline last week and thought they were good. TWill just focused too much on some sick new rhymes to turn up on the jukebox this week instead of game prep.

Twill runs a really agressive defense. That’s what lane feasts on. Why do you think Odom did so well against Kiffin? The bend but don’t break style killed him remember. But zone isn’t what twill works a lot of. Although a big part of it is we just seem to have gotten worn down. We aren’t the same team defensively that beat Tennessee

This game is not a good look for TWill at all. Defense completely gave up in the 3rd quarter and they didn't look particularly well prepared before that.
