I know it's baseball and it's a long season, but I'm legit surprised they both haven't bumped us down more given how we've struggled out of the gate (and who it's been against).

Winning 2 of 3 a weekend is usually enough to stay high ranked. Lots of other top teams are dropping a game here and there as well

So far this year, opponents are 15/20 on stolen bases against us. All year last year, opponents were 33/51.

I’m looking at the stats from arkansasrazorbacks.com and I believe I am understanding it that those stats do not include wild pitches/passed balls.
While we are on the subject -
2021 total - 49 Wild Pitches, 2 Passed balls*
2022 so far - 10 Wild Pitches, 4 Passed balls
*in 2021, both passed balls were committed by Dylan Leach, not Opitz.

And if I recall correctly, pretty sure they were in the same game too.

I think it was last game I said something about it, but I didn't realize it was already that bad. That's gotta get shored up with a quickness.
Also hadn't realized Opitz wasn't responsible for a single passed ball last year. Absolutely unreal. Makes you wonder how many wild pitches he saved from being wild pitches as well.
