Or it could be that he is blaming himself for the bats going scoreless.

His brother got the Baylor job. Can only assume they'd want to link up.

Zach Dillon is their hitting coach. So not linking up.

Norm

What are you, his daughter?

That would explain a lot! DD is quite a bitch and going waaaaaaay over the top on Norm. I didn't shite on Norm, but damn she's taking it personal. I was aroung the program quite a bit and knew many of the players well. The only one I shite on was Doug Clark. Arrogant prick and shitty coach.

Norm did build this program out of nothing and deserves the praise he receives. DVH has taken us up a couple of notches and continues to win. But without Norm, who knows if we have any of this.

Wes Johnson to LSU as Pitching Johnson. This is a huge hire for them. I'm surprised he's coming down from the majors.

Without Norm, Arkansas baseball would be a bottom half SEC program.

WTF... both of these guys should have been high on the list of expected contributors next season.

You know, it is possible that DVH has a plan and is retooling the roster to better suit needs. Tole couldn’t find it this year, and we have a need for an upperclassmen catcher, which I’m sure we will end up with a good one from the portal. I wish these guys would stay as well, but I bet we are right in the thick of it again next season.

Yeah we're going transfer upperclassmen Catcher again so writing was on the wall there.

Starks had no future here.

Tole too many issues let him be someone else's problem.

I don't agree

Care to expand? I've heard that his velocity is down, but never heard anything about discipline issues.

That's exactly what Texas did.

From what I've heard Starks is too slow to the plate and can't hold runners then the wild pitch tendencies. Also the 9 hits and 10 walks in 11 2/3 innings pitched this past year in limited work.

As for Tole batters hit .339 against him this year. .339 was by far the worst on the team for a pitcher who threw double-digit innings, huge regression for him. For reference Adamiak was next closest at .264. I know a one point in the season DVH was asked about Tole and said slider only pitcher.
