They do, but DVH will keep things in perspective and won't let Wick or Kopps, should he pitch, get too high of pitch counts.
I'm more concerned about offense if Goodheart continues to struggle and we also roll out Nesbit again. That's automatic outs and black holes in the offense.

Goodheart was an all conference DH who’s got 12 bombs. He’s slumping but it won’t last forever. Once he figures it out he’ll be fine. Can Welch play 1st? Maybe get him some work today

There's a difference between slumping and not seeing the ball. The way he has been K'ing lately has to be concerning. I think they should take him to an optometrist. Maybe get his eyes checked again.

Whether we will all admit it or not, we're going to want to win this, too. This was the only big SEC match-up that didn't happen in the regular season.

No way they give the #1 overall seed that tough of a regional.

That projection is garbage. If the committee does that to us it would be a travesty. Possibly the toughest regional of all.

Could be similar to Justin Smith's injury, but basketball is a lot harder to play with a bum ankle than baseball I guess. Especially since he plays first base where you don't really have to move. Hell Ole Miss has a guy playing with a torn ACL. I think he may be able to give it a shot but we may have to settle for singles and home runs, not sure we will see any doubles out of him if he can't run that well.

Usually going to be the case given they are going to be aligned with teams from weaker conferences, just because of geography.
Not sure where else Okie State would get sent outside of Tuscon and having Maryland sent here as a #2. But that seems unlikely. All the other #1's nearby are in their conference.

I would think OSU is primed to be sent to Ruston. LSU sent to one of the Big 12 regionals in Texas.

Slavens return timetable is officially 1-3 weeks. We might be fine without him for regionals but hopefully 2 weeks is all it takes.
