Wtf? I hope you mean simply as far as tourney hopes this season, if you really mean goodwill as far as the fanbase is with him being at the helm I don’t even know what to say to that.

Nah, even a high NIT seed was good with this roster. I believed this was an NIT team for the first month or so but started to buy into the hype.

Not yet. Got our hopes up to high. We've been in every game. Should've beat Kentucky but just went cold. That's not on Muss. We've been in every game and the losses have been close. We had a shot to win. Didn't go. Some will. Better than we expected. May not be what we got to hoping for. If we can get a hot streak shooting, look out.

Damn did we ever crash back to reality fast. Afraid we're NIT bound.

I'm not that worried about it. We have no height and no depth on this roster. Muss will have way more horses to work with next season.

Is this a real post right now? Dude has no size to work with and has the #4 class coming in next year. His goodwill hasn’t faded at all.

we're sitting pretty in every metric imaginable for the tournament.

but we lost games that would give us some cushion (miss st away, UK at home), have just now lost at home to team that will negatively impact those metrics, and havent been playing all that well lately outside of the TCU game.

im just being realistic. im more than happy with the year, but the momentum we had entering SEC play is pretty much gone.

Evansville is a bad loss too. Doesn't mean the season is over.

terrible point. no one would be worried if we had wins against mich st, ohio st, and louisville to balance it out.

If we lose 5 straight in the SEC we're doomed.

At Bama is must win Saturday with Auburn a likely loss.

Hardly. We still have resume builders like Auburn and LSU at home on the schedule to offset the bad loss just as Kentucky did OOC. Some of y'all are talking like it's February 29th and we just fell off the bubble.

Yeah that's the normal from the national media right now.
National media also had us as a 5-6 seed as recent as two weeks ago. Probably not a good idea to put much stock in that with 11 games left.

It has more to do with the trend than anything else

We won our last game by 20 against a team that had just beaten Texas Tech. Pretty ok trend.

I'm not about to judge the trajectory of the season off a game in which 57 personal fouls were called.

Yeah 3 straight SEC losses 2 at home, not good. I could easily see 5 straight conference losses as I don't feel great about Bama on the road or Auburn at home.

Musselman is the best coach we've had in a long time. It's clear as day. Calm your tits.

We lost this game because of our own mistakes. We made it too easy for SC to keep the momentum, and break any of ours we attained.

We have a lot of basketball left to play this year. Hopefully our guys respond on Saturday. It will be tough, but we can do it.

Trend isn't one or two games and I wish we won by 20

Neither am I, which is why I referenced a trend

Regardless, the season isn't close to over but I'm not going to downplay this game or 3 of the last four. Doesn't mean Musselman hasn't done a great job with this roster.
