If you have a desired coach schools will come after him and his name will be floated by his agent as leverage. It also helps the school recruit because it’s easy to sell a desired coach that’s committed to the school. The only negative is the emotionally fragile fans get upset.

I like Briles and hope he stays, but if he goes, he goes. At least we won't have to see him lift his skirt to everyone next offseason.

As much as I hate that he’s leaving, it appears to be real. Rev is pretty connected it seems and Everyome on his end seems to think he’s gone. Hopefully we get a good one to replace him who isn’t on a leash from Pittman. Guess the guy just really misses Texas

You’d usually be correct and I’d agree. But with Briles previous history of being a done deal to other schools, sources said he’s gone, then he stays.

Apparently window to portal for a bit closes after today. So that's why all the Thursday talk. For him to tweet he's looking forward to 2023 a couple weeks ago and then to just be silent...it means he outta here.
