I really think Briles would prefer a Stidham type of QB who has a really fast release and can throw the ball accurately over the middle, but he knows what KJ can do and can't do, so he atylors the offense that way.

Briles also, though, clearly has a weak spot with getting too cute at times, and Pittman knows that.

I also think if Briles could run his offense with zero limitations, we would penalty score 30-40 almost every game and I think he would be a pretty good head coach at arkansas and could attract a lot of Texas recruits and skill guys, but we will see.

I really don't think Pittman has much heart left in the game anymore with all the NIL/portal bullshite. Hang on a couple more years and Briles would probably get the job and turn Arkansas into Baylor 2.0.

That was purely a comment on numbers, not on quality. Not sure how it's "wrong" unless someone has a count that shows another team with more outgoing transfers

I don't doubt A&M is losing more talent. Also not going to pretend a significant chunk of ours would've been key contributors.

Losing arguably the best player from our weakest position group, which might be the most important position group in football, is a huge blow. Hope we can find a replacement.
